Undetected.ai refund policy

Payments for Undetected.ai plans are final. This page explains the few cases where a charge is returned and what happens when you cancel. In force from 14 October 2026.

Try it before you pay

The demo on our home page runs a real rewrite and shows our AI-pattern gauge before and after, so you can judge the style of the output with your own text before choosing a plan. The pricing page lists the word pool, the run limits and the features of every plan. Because you can see all of this up front, we treat every purchase as a considered one.

Every payment is final

An Undetected.ai plan is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that opens a monthly word pool for your account. What you buy is access for the billing period. The full pool is available from the first day of that period, and the price is the same whether you humanize ten thousand words or none at all.

By subscribing you ask us to start the service right away. Where a statutory right of withdrawal or a cooling-off period would otherwise apply, you acknowledge that you lose it once the service has started at your request.

Reasons that never lead to a refund

We do not return all or part of a payment for any of the following:

  • You changed your mind, finished the project you bought the plan for, or simply stopped needing a humanizer.
  • Words left unused in your monthly pool. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month and do not roll over.
  • A score or verdict from a third-party AI detector. Detectors are outside our control and change without notice, and our terms say we do not promise any particular result from them.
  • The tone, length or wording of a rewrite, or a rewrite you had to edit further. Output from an AI model varies from text to text.
  • A renewal that went through, including one that was collected after earlier attempts failed.
  • Thinking the plan was a one-time purchase. Plans renew automatically, which the pricing page, the checkout, the confirmation email and your account page all say.
  • Cancelling too late, or cancelling just after a renewal date.
  • Picking the wrong plan or the wrong billing term.
  • The days or weeks left after you cancel. Access continues to the end of the paid period and is not pro-rated.
  • Someone else using your login.
  • A payment you made to another company with a similar name. We cannot see, cancel or return charges made anywhere other than undetected.ai.

The three exceptions

Money is returned only in the cases below, only when our records and those of our payment processor support the claim, and only for the charge concerned:

  • Charged twice. A billing fault on our side took payment twice for the same period.
  • A card used without your permission. You report it to us within 14 days of the charge and the transaction and account records confirm that the payment was not yours. A statement alone does not decide it, and we may ask for confirmation that you reported the misuse to your card issuer.
  • Undetected.ai stopped working entirely. A confirmed fault on our side made rewriting impossible for an unbroken stretch, you told us while it was happening, and we could not put it right. Slow runs, a single failed rewrite, and problems with your browser, network or device are not a total failure.

Any refund granted is capped at the amount you paid for the affected period, goes back to the card that was charged, and is the whole of our liability for that charge. Receiving one refund does not entitle you to another.

Asking for a refund

Email support@undetected.ai from the address on your account within 14 days of the charge. Tell us the date and amount and which of the three exceptions you believe applies. Requests that arrive later or by another route are not assessed. We deal with requests in the order received, without a promised response time, and a declined request is not reopened.

If you file a chargeback with your bank without writing to us first, that is a breach of our terms of service and the account is closed permanently.

Cancelling and renewals

Your plan keeps renewing until you cancel it on your account page, which takes a moment and needs no email to us. Once cancelled, no further renewal is charged and your word pool stays available until the paid period ends. A cancellation is not a refund request.

When a new period starts, its access is opened and its payment falls due. If your card declines, the amount stays due and the charge is retried over the following days. Those retries belong to the same unpaid invoice and are not extra charges. Cancelling during the retries stops future renewals but does not cancel the invoice for the period that has already begun. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the renewal date shown in your account.

What we keep on record

Creating an account means you accept our terms of service, which include this policy, and our privacy policy. The checkout shows the plan, price, billing term and automatic renewal before you pay.

For each subscription we keep the purchase time, the plan and price shown, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent, and an activity log of the account, such as sign-ins and humanizer runs with the technical details recorded for each. Our payment processor keeps its own record of every charge, including the card's issuing country, where the payment came from and the result of bank checks such as 3D Secure. We assess claims of unauthorised charges against these records and supply them to the card issuer if a chargeback is opened.

Plans bought before this policy

A subscription purchased before 14 October 2026 stays under the refund terms that were published at the time of that purchase.
