Undetected.ai terms of service

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using undetected.ai, you agree to these terms of service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Undetected.ai does

Undetected.ai is an AI humanizer. You paste AI-written or AI-assisted text, choose a tone and strength, and the service rewrites it into natural, human-sounding prose that keeps your meaning, working on the properties AI detectors measure: sentence-level predictability and rhythm. The built-in gauge shows our own AI-pattern score for the text before and after the rewrite. That score is our measurement, made on our servers; it is not a reading from GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT, we have no access to those services, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise about what they will report.

Acceptable use

Undetected.ai is intended for legitimate purposes: clearing false AI flags on genuine writing, and making AI-assisted drafts read naturally and professionally for marketers, SEO teams, content writers, students and other writers. You agree to use the service responsibly and to comply with the rules, policies and codes of conduct that apply to you, including your school's, employer's or platform's policies on the use of AI assistance and original work.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Submit work as your own where doing so violates an applicable academic, professional or platform policy.
• Process text you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Create content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
• Resell or redistribute the service except under a Team or API agreement with us.

You are responsible for the text you submit and how you use the output.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text you submit and to the humanized output you receive. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your text and return your rewrite. We store your text and the rewrite so that your history is available on your account page, we delete both automatically after 90 days, and you can delete any run, or your whole account, yourself at any time. Producing the rewrite means sending your text to Google's Gemini API. Our privacy policy sets all of this out, including what Google may do with the text on the API tier we currently use.

Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Plans, billing and refunds

Undetected.ai is offered on paid plans sized by monthly word volume. All prices and charges are in US dollars. Plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the term you choose, until you cancel. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Word volume allowances reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Service availability

We work to keep Undetected.ai available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend features to maintain and improve the service.

Detector compatibility

We tune our rewrites to read as human across the major detectors and show you the result on the gauge. Detectors are third-party tools that change over time and outside our control, so we describe compatibility rather than guarantee any particular third party's verdict on a given piece of text. Detector names are used nominatively and do not imply partnership or endorsement.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing the output and for ensuring your use of it complies with the policies that apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Undetected.ai and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
