AI humanizer for Word documents, Google Docs and long files

Real work arrives as a 3,000-word Word document, a shared Google Doc a client is waiting on, or a report with headings, tables, and citations that has to survive the rewrite in one piece.

Undetected.ai takes 1,500 words in one run, so a document that size goes through in two or three passes, section by section. That is the honest shape of it: there is no file upload, no add-on and no whole-document mode. What you get back is natural prose with your terminology and facts intact, and our own AI-pattern score before and after each section, so you can see what the rewrite changed before you paste it into Word or Docs and hit send.

AI-pattern score

This is our own AI-pattern score, measured here on sentence rhythm, template phrases, vocabulary variety and passive voice. It is not a GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT result, and it does not predict one. Worth knowing: we also ask the rewrite to vary sentence length, drop template phrases and prefer the active voice, so some of the drop is built in. Read the two panels below, not just the number.

Why it works

What you get when you humanize a Word document

Sections, not paragraphs

A 500-word memo goes through in one run. A 5,000-word report goes through in four, because 1,500 words is the ceiling on a single run and it is the same ceiling on every plan. That is still a section at a time rather than a paragraph at a time, which is what keeps the voice steady.

Structure survives

Headings, numbered steps, bullet lists, and defined terms come back where you left them, so the document you paste into Word still reads like the document you wrote.

The same voice across the sections

Each run is scored on its own, so you can see which section was the flat one instead of reading one average for the whole file. Keep the tone and strength settings the same across runs and the sections come back consistent with each other.

What it handles

Natural prose, with the proof on screen

You paste the text and pick a tone. Undetected.ai rewrites the robotic patterns, keeps your meaning, and shows our AI-pattern score before and after.

Why Undetected.ai

Readable output, and the measurement in view

Not word-salad that beats one scanner and reads worse. Natural prose that keeps your meaning, rebuilt sentence by sentence.

Our AI-pattern score, before and after

Four measured signals (sentence rhythm, template phrases, vocabulary variety and passive voice) scored on your draft and on the rewrite, with the reasons behind each number. It is our own measure, not a GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT reading, and we have no access to those services.

See the score change

The gauge animates from our AI-pattern score for your original to the score for the rewrite, with the reasons behind both numbers.

Keeps your meaning

Your facts, argument, and structure stay intact. Undetected.ai rewrites the robotic rhythm, not your point, so the output is publishable as is.

Good questions

Questions about word documents

Copy the text out of Word, paste it into the humanizer, choose a tone, and paste the rewritten version back over the original. Formatting such as headings and lists is applied in Word, so pasting the text back preserves your layout.
Yes. The workflow is identical: copy from Docs, humanize, paste back. Because everything runs in the browser there is nothing to install and no add-on to approve inside your Google Workspace.
There is a hard cap per run: 1,500 words, and it is the same on every plan including the free account. Paste more than that and the run is refused before anything is rewritten, with a message telling you the count. A longer document is run a section at a time. Separately, plans are sized by monthly volume: Starter 15,000 words across 60 runs, Pro 80,000 across 200, Scale 250,000 across 400, so a long report costs you several runs out of that pool as well as the words.
Yes. The rewrite applies the same tone across the whole file instead of drifting between sections, which matters because detectors and human reviewers both notice when chapter three suddenly reads differently from chapter one.
Yes, and you should know that before you paste a client report in. The text you paste and the rewrite we return are both saved to your account history, where you can read them back and delete any of them at any time. Anything you do not delete is removed automatically 90 days after the run. The text is also sent to Google's Gemini API to be rewritten, and on the free tier Google's own terms allow them to use submitted content to improve their products. Our privacy page sets out all of it. If a document is confidential enough that none of that is acceptable, do not paste it.
