Netus AI vs Undetected AI: credits versus plain word counts

The short answer

Netus AI and Undetected AI are both capable humanizers, and they sell it differently. Netus prices in credits (1 credit = 10 words) across a bundle that also includes a paraphraser, summarizer, and SEO writer, and on raw words per dollar its annual plans are competitive to slightly cheaper. Undetected.ai prices in plain words, takes up to 1,500 words a run, and shows our own AI-pattern score before and after with the reasons behind it, where Netus reports one in-house number with no explanation. Neither of us can show you a GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT verdict.

AI-pattern score

This is our own AI-pattern score, measured here on sentence rhythm, template phrases, vocabulary variety and passive voice. It is not a GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT result, and it does not predict one. Worth knowing: we also ask the rewrite to vary sentence length, drop template phrases and prefer the active voice, so some of the drop is built in. Read the two panels below, not just the number.

Netus AI is a multi-tool writing platform: the humanizer (they call it a bypasser) shares a monthly credit pool with a paraphraser, a summarizer, and an SEO article generator. That bundle is genuinely useful if you want several tools in one subscription. It also means the same credits you spend humanizing are the credits you spend summarizing, so heavy use of one tool eats the budget for the others.

This page puts Netus AI and Undetected.ai side by side on the numbers a buyer feels: what a credit actually buys, price per thousand words, what proof you get that the rewrite cleared the detectors, and where each tool honestly wins.

The credit model, translated into plain words

Netus prices in credits, and one credit is ten words. So the Basic plan's 1,500 credits is about 15,000 words a month, and Standard's 10,000 credits is about 100,000 words. On its own that is a fair, and at the annual price a slightly cheaper, rate per word than most of the category, including us at the entry tier.

The wrinkle is that those credits are shared. The paraphraser, summarizer, SEO article writer, and the bypasser all draw from the same monthly pool. If you summarize a stack of research one week, you have fewer credits left to humanize drafts the next. Undetected.ai's words only buy humanizing, so the number on your plan is the number you can humanize, full stop. Which model is better depends on whether you want a suite or a specialist.

Evidence: a vendor score on its own output vs a score that shows its working

Both tools show you a number after the rewrite. Netus checks output against its own in-house AI detector and shows that score, with no explanation of what produced it. That is convenient, but it is one opinion, and the detectors that actually decide your grade or your client's approval (GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks, ZeroGPT) are third parties.

Undetected.ai does not run your text past those tools either, and says so on every page: we have no access to them. What we show is our own AI-pattern score, before and after, and the specific reasons behind each number. The difference from an in-house pass badge is that you can read the reasoning and check it against the text yourself, then run the free detectors on the output if you want a third-party opinion.

Where Netus AI is genuinely the better pick

If you want more than a humanizer, Netus is a strong buy. A paraphraser, summarizer, and SEO article generator in one subscription, priced competitively per word, is real value for a writer or small team that juggles all of those jobs. Its 36-language support and free 500-word plan also make it easy to test on your own text first.

Undetected.ai is the better pick when humanizing is the job, you want plain word counts instead of credit math, and you want a score that lists what earned it rather than a vendor's own detector grading the vendor's own output. Above about 250,000 words a month, though, Netus is the cheaper of the two: its $99 Elite tier carries roughly a million words, and our top plan stops at 250,000.

The honest split

Who should pick which

Pick Undetected.ai if

  • You want plain word counts, not credits shared across four tools
  • You want a score that lists what earned it, not a bare pass claim
  • Your volume sits under 250,000 words a month and you want one flat price for it

Pick Netus AI if

  • You want a paraphraser, summarizer, and SEO writer bundled with the humanizer
  • You work in one of 36 languages Netus supports
  • You want a free 500-word plan to test output before paying

No tool wins every workload. Test both on your own text before committing to a year.

Good questions

Netus AI vs Undetected.ai, answered

As of July 2026, Netus AI Basic is $14 a month, or about $8.08 a month billed yearly ($97 a year), for 1,500 credits (about 15,000 words). Standard is $30 a month, about $17.91 billed yearly, for 10,000 credits (about 100,000 words). Premium and Elite run $59 and $99 a month. A free plan gives 50 credits, about 500 words.
One Netus AI credit equals ten words, and credits are shared across the humanizer, paraphraser, summarizer, and SEO writer. So 1,500 credits is roughly 15,000 words, but any of the four tools draws it down. Undetected.ai prices in plain words used only for humanizing, so the number on your plan is the number you can humanize.
It depends on what you need. Netus AI bundles a paraphraser, summarizer, and SEO writer at a competitive per-word rate, so it suits writers who want a suite. Undetected.ai is the specialist: plain word counts and our own AI-pattern score with the reasons behind each number, rather than one unexplained in-house figure. Neither of us can show you what an external detector will report.
