Twixify vs Undetected AI: the per-request word cap decides it

The short answer

Twixify and Undetected AI both humanize AI text, and the deciding difference is how much you can process at once. Twixify caps each request at 400 to 900 words depending on plan, so a normal article is split into several chunks and stitched back together. Undetected.ai takes up to 1,500 words in one pass, which covers a normal article whole, and shows our own AI-pattern score before and after with its reasons. Twixify is cheap and offers writing-style matching and a one-time lifetime plan; Undetected.ai keeps a normal-length piece consistent and shows you what it measured.

AI-pattern score

This is our own AI-pattern score, measured here on sentence rhythm, template phrases, vocabulary variety and passive voice. It is not a GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT result, and it does not predict one. Worth knowing: we also ask the rewrite to vary sentence length, drop template phrases and prefer the active voice, so some of the drop is built in. Read the two panels below, not just the number.

Twixify's pitch is a low price plus personal writing-style matching: you feed it samples of your own writing and it aims to rewrite in that voice. It is genuinely inexpensive, and it sells a one-time lifetime plan, which almost nobody else in this category does.

The catch is the per-request word cap. Twixify limits each humanize request to 400 words on Basic, 600 on Standard, and 900 on Premium. A 1,500-word article does not go through in one paste; it goes through in three or four requests that you then reassemble. This page compares Twixify and Undetected.ai on price, that request cap, and what proof you get that the rewrite cleared the detectors.

Side by side

What each tool actually does

A fair look at where each one wins. Both are capable humanizers; the fit depends on your volume and workflow.

What matters Undetected.ai Twixify
Longest single paste 1,500 words 400 words (Basic) to 900 words (Premium) per request
A 1,500-word article One request Four requests on Basic, three on Standard, two on Premium
Cheapest paid entry $9/mo billed yearly, 15,000 words $5/mo billed yearly, but capped at 400-word chunks
What you see after the rewrite Our AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons behind it Returns humanized text with a bypass claim
Writing-style matching Not offered; the focus is clearing detectors Yes: trains on samples of your writing
One-time option Subscription only $150 lifetime plan (1,000 words per request)

The per-request cap is the real cost

On price per word, Twixify looks cheap: Basic at $5 a month billed yearly buys 75 requests of up to 400 words, which is 30,000 words if you fill every request. That is a good sticker rate. The problem is the shape of it. A single blog post of 1,500 words is four separate requests, each humanized in isolation, and you paste the four pieces back together yourself.

Humanizing in 400-word chunks costs you two things. First, time: four passes and a reassembly instead of one. Second, consistency: each chunk is rewritten without the context of the others, so tone and phrasing can drift across the seams. Undetected.ai takes 1,500 words in one request, so that same article is one pass with nothing to stitch. Our ceiling is real too (past 1,500 words you split the draft yourself), it is just three to four times further out.

Evidence: a bypass claim vs a score that shows its working

Twixify returns your rewritten text and tells you it will bypass detectors. Undetected.ai makes no bypass claim, because we have no access to GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, Copyleaks or ZeroGPT and cannot honestly promise their verdicts. What we show instead is our own AI-pattern score before and after, and the reasons behind it.

For low-stakes writing, a bypass claim is fine. For a graded paper or a client deliverable, a score you can check against the text beats an assurance you cannot check at all, especially when the free detectors are there to run on the output yourself.

Where Twixify is genuinely the better pick

Twixify has two real advantages. Its writing-style matching, where it learns from samples of your own writing, is something most humanizers do not offer, and for a personal blog or a distinctive voice that is valuable. And the $150 lifetime plan is a genuine outlier: pay once, humanize in 1,000-word requests forever, no renewal.

If your pieces are short, your voice matters more than raw throughput, and you would rather buy once than subscribe, Twixify is a smart pick. Undetected.ai pulls ahead when you write longer drafts you do not want to chop into 400-word pieces, and when you want a score that lists what earned it rather than a bare assertion.

The honest split

Who should pick which

Pick Undetected.ai if

  • You write drafts longer than a few hundred words and do not want to split them into chunks
  • You want a score that lists what earned it, not a general bypass claim
  • You want a large monthly word pool at a flat price instead of per-request caps

Pick Twixify if

  • Your pieces are short and fit inside a 400 to 900 word request
  • You want the humanizer to match a personal writing style from your samples
  • You prefer a one-time $150 lifetime purchase over a subscription

No tool wins every workload. Test both on your own text before committing to a year.

Good questions

Twixify vs Undetected.ai, answered

As of July 2026, Twixify Basic is $8 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly, for 75 requests of up to 400 words each. Standard is $13 a month, or $9 billed yearly, for 150 requests of up to 600 words. Premium is $27 a month for 200 requests of up to 900 words, and a $150 one-time Lifetime plan allows unlimited 1,000-word requests. A free trial gives three 150-word requests a day.
Yes. Twixify caps each request at 400 words on Basic, 600 on Standard, and 900 on Premium, so a longer article must be split into several requests and reassembled. Undetected.ai caps a run at 1,500 words, three to four times theirs, so a normal article goes through in one piece.
It depends on your work. Twixify is cheaper, matches a personal writing style from your samples, and sells a one-time lifetime plan, which suits short pieces and a distinctive voice. Undetected.ai takes up to 1,500 words a run, which is two to four times their per-request cap, and shows our own AI-pattern score before and after with its reasons, which suits longer content and higher-stakes work.
