0 / 200 words

That is more than 200 words, which is what a run without an account takes at once. Trim it, or it will stop at the limit on the next page.

No sign-up to see your result. 2 free runs a day, up to 200 words each.

To cancel Humbot, log in at humbot.ai, open your account settings and follow the cancellation steps there, or email Humbot support, and do it before your renewal date. Humbot refunds a payment only if you ask within 7 days of buying and have used no more than 1,000 Basic Words or 300 Advanced Words. Cancelling mid-term never refunds the rest of the period.

We read Humbot's terms of service and its pricing page on October 14, 2026, and we reviewed its plans in depth in our Humbot AI humanizer review. This guide is for someone paying Humbot who wants to stop, or who has just found a renewal on a card statement. It is written by Undetected.ai, a competing AI humanizer. We cannot cancel or refund anything for you; only Humbot can.

How do I cancel my Humbot subscription?

Humbot's terms name two routes. Its billing section says you can "follow the cancellation instructions found in your account settings or contact our support team". In practice:

  1. In your account. Log in at humbot.ai with the email you subscribed under, open the account or subscription settings and cancel the plan there. Take a screenshot of the screen that confirms it.
  2. By email. Write to hello@humbot.ai from the address on the account. Say plainly that you are cancelling, name the plan, and ask for a written confirmation.

Prefer the settings route if a renewal is close. The terms carry a second, stricter paragraph on automatic renewal: to avoid the next charge "you must contact us in advance", with "sufficient notice before the renewal date", and if you do not, "the charge being processed" may follow with no refund. The terms never define sufficient notice. Treat it as at least two working days, and longer over a weekend, because Humbot is run from Singapore, twelve or more hours ahead of most of the United States.

When does Humbot charge the renewal?

On the first day of each billing cycle. The terms say your payment method "will be charged on the first day of each billing cycle, and a receipt will be sent to you via email after each payment". That receipt is your best record of the exact date, so search your inbox for it before you do anything else. Monthly plans renew every month on that date; annual plans charge the whole year again twelve months after you bought.

The annual charge is the one that hurts. On the prices we read for our review on September 21, 2026, Humbot's annual plans bill $95.88 for Basic and $119.88 for Pro or Unlimited in one payment. Its pricing page now advertises the yearly option as "83% OFF", which is the gap against the $59.99 monthly price of Unlimited. A forgotten annual renewal is a full year of a tool you had already decided to leave.

What happens after I cancel Humbot?

You keep the plan until the period you paid for runs out, then it stops. The terms: "your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle". They also rule out money back for the unused part: "Humbot does not offer partial refunds or credits for subscription periods that are canceled", and there is no prorated billing either. Cancel an annual plan in month three and you keep nine months of access you have already paid for, not a refund of nine months.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not, on its own, ask for a refund. If you are inside the refund window below, you need a separate request.

Does Humbot give refunds?

Yes, on narrow terms. Humbot's refund policy opens generously, "You may request a refund if, for any reason, you're unsatisfied", then sets two conditions that both have to hold:

  • Time. You ask "within 7 days of your purchase".
  • Usage. Your use in that period "does not exceed 1,000 Basic Words or 300 Advanced Words".

The usage cap is the one that decides most cases. Humbot sells two word currencies: Basic words for its standard modes and a smaller pool of Advanced words for its stronger mode. 1,000 Basic words is about two pages. 300 Advanced words is one long paragraph. On the plan page we read today, the Basic tier alone includes 3,000 Basic and 1,000 Advanced words a month, so anyone who tried the product properly in week one has probably already used enough to lose the refund. If you are going to ask, ask early and stop using the account while you wait.

Three more conditions sit in the same section. Refunds go only to the original purchaser. None are given for a subscription that was gifted or resold. And Humbot reserves the right to refuse one where it believes the policy is being exploited.

Is the Humbot money-back guarantee 7 days or 30 days?

Plan on 7. Humbot's pricing page lists a "30-Day money back guarantee" under Security and Support for all three plans. Its refund policy page and its terms of service, read the same day, both say 7 days, with the same 1,000 Basic Words and 300 Advanced Words limit. The refund policy is the page that sets out how a request is handled, so it is the one support will apply. If you bought on the strength of the 30-day line and are now between day 8 and day 30, say so in your request and quote the pricing page; just do not count on it.

How do I request a Humbot refund?

Email hello@humbot.ai from the account's address within the 7 days. Humbot's refund policy asks for your order number and the reason for the request. Add the date and amount of the charge from your receipt, the last four digits of the card, and one sentence saying you are within the window and under the word limit. Ask them to cancel the subscription in the same reply so you are not relying on a second step. Keep the thread.

I paid through an app store. Can Humbot refund me?

No. The terms say refunds "are only available for purchases made directly on our website at humbot.ai" and that "third-party purchases are subject to the vendor's policies". If the charge on your statement came from Apple or Google, both the cancellation and any refund go through that store's subscription settings, not through Humbot.

Can I dispute a Humbot charge with my bank?

For a charge you did not authorize, yes, and quickly. For one you did authorize, write to Humbot first and give it a few days; a bank will usually ask whether you tried the merchant. Humbot's terms do not set out a chargeback rule, but it does keep usage records, and those are what a merchant sends back in a dispute. If you pay for several writing tools on one card, a spend alert on recurring card charges flags a renewal like this the day it posts, while you are still inside any window that exists.

What to check before you pay for the next humanizer

Most people leaving Humbot are not done with humanizers. They hit the 500-word input limit on Basic, ran out of Advanced words, or found that an annual charge renewed before they noticed. Before paying for a replacement, check:

  • One word currency or two. A plan that splits its allowance into cheap and premium words is harder to budget, and Humbot's refund rule is written in both.
  • The input limit per run, not just the monthly total. A long report split into four pastes costs time and consistency.
  • Whether you can see a result before you pay, so the refund rules matter less.

Undetected.ai is a dedicated humanizer with one word currency. You can run a passage of your own and see our AI-pattern score before and after, without entering a card. Paid plans start at $24 a month billed yearly or $49 month to month, for 100,000 words and 1,500 words per run, and you cancel from your account at any time. Be clear on the trade: that is more than Humbot charges, and our payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, which is why the free passage exists. The Humbot alternative page puts the two of us side by side plan by plan, and the best AI humanizer list compares the wider field on price and limits.
