Twixify AI humanizer review of pricing, the 400-word cap and three cancel policies
Twixify is cheap and genuinely good at copying your writing voice. It also caps every paste at 400 to 1,000 words, and its own site gives three different answers on when you are allowed to cancel. Here is the whole ladder, dated, with the per-word math and the cancellation text quoted word for word.
Written by Undetected.ai, a competing humanizer · every price quoted from the vendor's own page
The short answer
Twixify is an AI humanizer priced at $8, $13 or $27 a month, or $5, $9 and $20 a month billed yearly. Its standout feature is echowriting, which rewrites text to match a sample of your own writing. The two things to weigh before paying are the per-request ceiling and the cancellation terms. Each paste is capped at 400 words on Basic, 600 on Standard and 900 on Premium, so a 1,500-word article is four separate requests on the cheapest plan. And the site states "Cancel anytime" in its footer while its terms say you may cancel only "after a minimum of 2 months (2 payments) has elapsed." On raw price per word Twixify is one of the cheapest humanizers we have read. It is the right buy for short pieces and a distinctive voice, and a weaker one for long documents.
Every price was read on twixify.com/pricing on September 18, 2026, in US dollars, and cross-checked through a second independent reading of the same page.
The ladder
Twixify pricing, with the per-request cap beside every price
Three tiers, six USD figures, and the cost per 1,000 words if you fill every single request. Read September 18, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Paid up front | Words per request | Requests | Words a month, at most | Per 1,000 words, at best |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $8/mo | $5/mo | $60 | 400 words | 75 a month | 30,000 | $0.27 monthly · $0.17 yearly |
| Standard | $13/mo | $9/mo | $108 | 600 words | 150 a month | 90,000 | $0.14 monthly · $0.10 yearly |
| Premium | $27/mo | $20/mo | $240 | 900 words monthly, 1,000 yearly | 200 a month monthly, unlimited yearly | 180,000 monthly, no cap yearly | $0.15 monthly · not computable yearly |
The last three columns are our arithmetic on Twixify's own card figures, not totals printed on their page. "Words a month, at most" multiplies the request allowance by the per-request cap, so it assumes every single paste is exactly full. A 250-word paragraph still spends a whole request, which is why real usage lands below that ceiling. The pricing banner advertises "25% off for the first 7M users"; the figures above are the prices shown with that banner in place.
Before you pay
Twixify gives three different answers on canceling
All three of these were live on twixify.com on September 18, 2026. The first is the footer that closes every page on the site, pricing included:
Free Trial Available. Cancel anytime.
The second is section 6 of the privacy policy, headed "Subscription and Cancellation":
Twixify operates on a recurring monthly subscription basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are available if the majority of your credit has not been used.
The third is section 4 a) of the terms and conditions:
Our service operates on a recurring monthly subscription model. You may cancel your plan after a minimum of 2 months (2 payments) has elapsed.
The first two agree with each other. The third does not. A two-payment minimum means that someone who subscribes monthly, tries it for a week and decides it is not for them has, on a literal reading of the terms, agreed to pay for a second month. Twixify's stated reason is that detectors update often and the tool usually catches up, so a bad fortnight is "usually just a temporary effect".
We do not know which version support applies in practice, and it is quite possible the footer is the real operating rule and the terms are older text nobody revisited. Both documents also describe the service as "a recurring monthly subscription", which does not match the yearly plans now on sale. That points to terms written before the ladder changed, which is the charitable reading.
None of that changes what you should do. Before you pay, email help@twixify.com, ask whether the two-month minimum applies to your plan, and keep the reply. On the monthly plans the most you risk is one extra $8 to $27 charge. On yearly Premium you are paying $240 up front, so get the answer in writing first. We walk through the whole exit, click by click, in our Twixify refund and cancellation guide.
What the cap means in practice
How many separate pastes one document takes
Twixify's per-request caps from its pricing cards, against our 1,500-word run limit, which is the same on every plan.
| Document | Twixify Basic | Twixify Standard | Twixify Premium | Undetected.ai, any plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 600-word cover letter | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| 1,200-word blog post | 3 | 2 | 2 (2 yearly) | 1 |
| 1,500-word article | 4 | 3 | 2 (2 yearly) | 1 |
| 3,000-word report | 8 | 5 | 4 (3 yearly) | 2 |
Twixify labels the cap "words per cycle" and never says what a cycle is. Every independent review we read, including two from rival humanizers with no reason to flatter it, treats it as the most you can paste into one request. That reading matches how the numbers are laid out on the card, directly above the monthly request count, so it is the one we use here.
Splitting a document costs you two things. Time is the obvious one: four pastes, four waits and a reassembly instead of one. Consistency is the one people notice later. Each chunk is rewritten on its own, without the paragraphs before and after it, so a transition that used to read "as the survey above shows" can come back pointing at nothing, and the tone can shift slightly at every seam. On a 400-word cover letter none of this matters. On a 3,000-word report you will be proofreading eight joins.
Our own limit is real too. Past 1,500 words you split the draft yourself, and a 3,000-word report is two runs with us. We are not claiming there is no seam, only that there are fewer of them. For documents under 400 words the cap makes no difference at all and you should ignore this section.
The honest price comparison
On price per word, Twixify beats us at the bottom of the ladder
We sell three plans. Starter is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, for 100,000 words across 300 runs a month. Pro is $99, or $49 yearly, for 300,000 words across 800 runs a month. Scale is $199, or $99 yearly, for 1,000,000 words across 2,000 runs a month. The daily run caps are 40, 107 and 267. That works out at $0.24, $0.16 and $0.10 per 1,000 words on yearly billing.
Put that beside Twixify and the result is not flattering to us. Twixify Basic yearly, filled to the brim, is $0.17 per 1,000 words against our $0.24. Standard yearly is $0.10 against Pro at $0.16. Our entry price is also several times Twixify's. If every request you make is a full 400 or 600 words, Twixify is simply cheaper, and we would rather tell you that than have you find it out.
Two things narrow the gap. The "at best" figure only holds if every paste is exactly full, and real work is not: a 250-word paragraph uses a whole Twixify request, so the effective price per word on Basic rises quickly for anyone who pastes section by section. Our plans meter words and runs both, so a short paste costs a run from our side too, but each run can take up to 1,500 words, which gives a long document more room per run.
The other is the top of the ladder. Twixify's yearly Premium, at $20 a month with 1,000-word requests and no stated request limit, is a strong offer for heavy users who work in chunks anyway. Our Scale plan is $99 a month yearly for 1,000,000 words. If volume is the only thing you are buying and a 1,000-word paste ceiling suits your documents, yearly Premium is worth a serious look.
The honest case for it
What Twixify is genuinely good at
Style matching, and it is the best reason to buy it. Twixify calls this echowriting: you paste a sample of your own writing and the rewrite follows its tone, sentence length and even its punctuation habits. The homepage demonstrates it with a deliberately scruffy, swear-heavy sample, and the point lands. Most humanizers offer a handful of tone presets. Twixify has presets too (Personable, Empathetic, Direct, Friendly, Analytical, Reflective) and then goes further by learning from you. We do not offer anything equivalent.
The price is the second reason. A $5 a month entry on yearly billing sits at the bottom of the paid field, and the monthly $8 plan is a cheap way to find out whether the voice matching suits you before committing to anything.
The refund grounds are the third, and it is a fair point in Twixify's favor. Its terms list being "unsatisfied with the output text" as a reason for a refund. That is more generous on paper than a lot of this category, and more generous than our own terms, which state that payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Whether support honors it quickly is a separate question, but the written basis is there.
Where we would push back is on the paperwork. The privacy policy names Twixify PTY LTD, an Australian company form, and the terms are "governed by the laws of Sydney, NSW, Australia", while every page footer says "Based in Dallas, TX". For a US buyer that is worth knowing before a dispute rather than during one. None of it makes the product less real. It does make the written answer from support more valuable.
The paid field
Entry prices across the humanizers we have read first-party
Prices move in this category. Every row carries the day we last read it on the vendor's own page.
| Tool | Entry price | Words per run | Entry allowance | Read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Twixify | $5/mo billed yearly | 400 words | 75 requests a month | Sep 18, 2026 |
| Undetected.ai | $24/mo billed yearly | 1,500 words | 100,000 words across 300 runs a month | Sep 29, 2026 |
| Smodin | $10.00/mo billed yearly | Not published | Not published, shown as "Limited" | Sep 17, 2026 |
| HIX Bypass | $9.99/mo billed yearly | 3,000 words | 5,000 words a month | Sep 16, 2026 |
| Rewritify | $9/mo billed yearly | 3,000 words | 5,000 words a month | Sep 9, 2026 |
| Humbot | $7.99/mo billed yearly | 500 words | 3,000 basic + 1,000 advanced words | Sep 21, 2026 |
| StealthWriter | $20/mo ($200/yr) | 5,000 words | 50 runs a day | Sep 5, 2026 |
Rows are not strictly comparable: some vendors meter words, some meter requests, some meter both. Twixify's entry row has the lowest price and the shortest paste in the table, and those two facts belong together.
Buy it, or do not
Who Twixify is actually the right buy for
Buy Basic or Standard if your pieces are short and your voice matters. Emails, cover letters, product descriptions, social posts and discussion replies all fit inside 400 to 600 words, and echowriting is the one feature in this category that makes output sound like a particular person. Start on monthly billing at $8 or $13, and ask support about the two-month minimum before your first payment.
Consider yearly Premium if you are a heavy user who already works in sections. At $20 a month with 1,000-word requests and no stated request limit, it is among the most generous volume offers we have priced. Get the cancellation answer in writing first, because $240 is a lot to have tied to an ambiguous clause.
Look elsewhere if you humanize whole documents. Essays, reports, long blog posts and client deliverables in the 1,200 to 3,000 word range mean three to eight separate pastes on Basic, each rewritten without the others. That is where a larger per-run ceiling earns its price.
That last group is who we built for. Every plan takes 1,500 words a run, so a normal article goes through whole, and each run shows our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons that earned it. What we do not have is style matching, and we cost more than Twixify at every tier. What the higher price buys is a larger monthly pool (100,000 words on Starter) and 1,500 words in every run. You can compare our plans and word allowances directly, see the two tools side by side on our Twixify vs Undetected AI comparison, or check what the cheapest AI humanizer costs per word across the whole field.
Frequently asked
Twixify questions people actually search
How much does Twixify cost?
Twixify costs $8, $13 or $27 a month on monthly billing, or $5, $9 and $20 a month billed yearly, which is $60, $108 and $240 up front. The three tiers are Basic, Standard and Premium, and they differ mainly in how many words one request can take and how many requests you get. Read on twixify.com/pricing on September 18, 2026.
Does Twixify have a word limit?
Yes, per request. The pricing cards list 400 "words per cycle" on Basic, 600 on Standard and 900 on Premium, rising to 1,000 on yearly Premium. Twixify does not define "cycle" on the page, and independent reviews read it as the ceiling for a single paste. A 1,500-word article therefore goes through as four separate requests on Basic.
Can you cancel Twixify anytime?
Twixify's own site gives three answers. The footer says "Cancel anytime". The privacy policy says you may cancel at any time and get a refund if most of your credit is unused. The terms say "You may cancel your plan after a minimum of 2 months (2 payments) has elapsed." Ask support which one applies to you before you pay.
How do I cancel my Twixify subscription?
Go to twixify.com/cancel-subscription and use the "Cancel / Edit Your Subscription" link, which opens Twixify's Stripe billing page where the plan is managed. If you have forgotten which email the account uses, the same page links to a contact form, and support is at help@twixify.com. Keep the Stripe confirmation email as your record.
Does Twixify give refunds?
Its terms list three refund grounds: you are unsatisfied with the output, you bought the wrong plan by accident, or your text type did not suit the software. The privacy policy adds a different test, that most of your credit is unused. That is a broader written refund basis than many humanizers publish, including ours, which is non-refundable.
Is Twixify legit?
It is a real, working product that launched in July 2024 and takes payment through Stripe. Two things are worth knowing. The privacy policy names Twixify PTY LTD, an Australian company form, and the terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, while every page footer says "Based in Dallas, TX". Any dispute would sit under Australian law.
Is Twixify free?
No, there is a free trial rather than a free plan. Independent reviews put it at 150 words a request and three requests a day. That is enough to judge the style of the output on one paragraph, but not enough for a full essay or article. Every card on the pricing page leads to a paid plan.
What is Twixify echowriting?
Echowriting is Twixify's name for style matching. You paste a sample of your own writing and the tool rewrites the AI text to follow that sample's tone, sentence shape and punctuation habits. Twixify says it analyzes over 17 writing style properties. It is the product's most distinctive feature and a real reason to choose it.
