BypassGPT Cancel Subscription and 3-Day Refund Rules
BypassGPT's terms say cancel in account settings; its refund policy says email support first. Both steps, the 1,000-word refund limit, and renewal charges.

To cancel BypassGPT, turn off renewal in your account settings and then email support@bypassgpt.ai before the renewal date. You need both because BypassGPT's own pages disagree: section 15 of its terms says you can cancel "by accessing your account settings", while its refund policy says "you must contact us in advance to cancel your subscription". A refund is only possible within three days of your first purchase, and only if you have used 1,000 words or fewer.
Every line quoted below was read first-party on bypassgpt.ai on September 21, 2026: the pricing page, the refund policy, and the terms of service, which carry the date "Last updated 09/15/2023". Policies in this category change without notice, so compare the wording with what you see today before you act on it.
How do I cancel my BypassGPT subscription?
Start in the account itself. The terms describe the route in one sentence:
You can cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings.
Log in at bypassgpt.ai with the email you paid with, open your account settings, and turn off the subscription there. The terms add that "your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid term", so you keep access to the words you have already paid for until the renewal date arrives.
Then send the email. The refund policy sets a second requirement that the terms do not mention:
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must contact us in advance to cancel your subscription. Please ensure that you reach out to our customer support team via support@bypassgpt.ai with sufficient notice before the renewal date. Failure to do so may result in the charge being processed, and a refund may not be available.
Neither page defines "sufficient notice". A week before renewal is a sensible margin. Keep the email short and specific:
- The email address on the account, so support can find the subscription without a back and forth.
- The plan and billing period, for example "Pro, billed yearly, renews October 3".
- A plain request: "Please cancel my subscription so it does not renew, and confirm by reply."
- The date you canceled in settings, if you already did.
The reply is your record. If a renewal charge appears after it, you have a dated confirmation that you asked in advance, which is exactly what the policy says you need.
Why are there two different ways to cancel?
The most likely reason is age. The terms were last updated in September 2023, and a lot of humanizers moved their billing into self-serve portals since then. The account-settings route is probably the one the product uses today, and the email clause is probably older text nobody went back to.
"Probably" is the problem, though. On a monthly plan the most you risk by guessing wrong is one extra charge of $12 to $39. On a yearly plan you risk the next year's charge, which is $96 on Basic, $180 on Pro and $228 on Unlimited. Doing both steps costs two minutes and removes the question entirely.

Does BypassGPT give refunds?
Yes, inside a narrow window. The pricing page advertises a "3-day money-back guarantee" and the checkout box reads "I accept the Terms and 3-Day Refund Policy". The policy behind that box sets two conditions:
we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to request a refund within a period of three (3) calendar days from the initial date of purchase. However, please be aware that if your word usage is over 1,000 words, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Both conditions have to hold. It must be within three calendar days of the initial purchase, which means the first payment, not a renewal. And you must have used 1,000 words or fewer. Basic carries 5,000 words a month, so one full-length article through the tool is enough to lose the refund.
To request it, email support@bypassgpt.ai with your full name, the plan you bought and the reason, which is what the policy asks for. Send it on day one or two rather than day three, because "three calendar days" does not say which time zone counts.
Can I get a refund on a BypassGPT renewal?
On the written policy, no. The terms say plainly: "You will not receive a refund for any remaining days in your subscription term." The 3-day guarantee covers the initial purchase only. A renewal you forgot about sits outside it, which is why the in-advance cancellation above matters more than the refund window does.
That does not always end it. If you canceled in settings and emailed support before renewal and were charged anyway, you have a genuine billing error, and your dated email is the evidence. Reply to support first and ask for the charge to be reversed. If that goes nowhere, the charge can be disputed with your card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act you generally have 60 days from the statement that shows the charge to raise a billing error on a credit card. A dispute of this kind does not by itself lower your credit score; if you want to check what is actually moving your credit score while it is being resolved, look at the report rather than assuming the worst.
What to check before you pay for BypassGPT again, or anyone else
Most people read a cancellation guide because they are about to buy something else. Three things from BypassGPT's own paperwork are worth checking on whichever tool comes next:
- Who you are paying. BypassGPT's terms identify the seller only as "BypassGPT, doing business as BypassGPT AI", with no company form, no address and no governing-law clause. Look for a named company in the terms of your next tool.
- What the refund window really covers. A guarantee capped at 1,000 words is a paragraph test. Read the conditions, not the badge.
- How much one paste can hold. BypassGPT Basic takes 500 words per input and Pro 1,000, so a 1,500-word article goes in as three pieces on Basic. If splitting documents was the reason you are leaving, check the per-run ceiling before you check the price.
There is also a site-level check. Several other websites use the BypassGPT name and appear in the same search results. If the charge on your statement does not match what you expected, confirm which company billed you before you contact anyone, because bypassgpt.ai support cannot cancel a subscription held somewhere else.
Should I cancel BypassGPT or switch plans?
It depends on which plan you are on. If you are on Unlimited and it does the job, staying is usually right: at $19 a month billed yearly with no stated word limit, it is one of the strongest volume offers in the category, and we say so in our full BypassGPT review. If you are on Basic, the numbers are harder to defend. $12 a month for 5,000 words is $2.40 per 1,000 words on monthly billing, and the 500-word paste cap means most documents go through in pieces.
That second group is who we built Undetected.ai for. Every plan takes up to 1,500 words in a single run, so a normal article goes through whole, and each run shows our own AI-pattern score before and after with the reason behind every point it gives back. Starter is $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, for 100,000 words across 300 runs. We will be straight about the trade: we do not sell an unlimited tier, we do not publish a 50-language list, and our terms do not offer a refund window, where BypassGPT's does. If those matter more than paste length, BypassGPT may still be the better fit. If not, compare our plans and word allowances, or see the two side by side in our BypassGPT alternative comparison.
If you are shopping the whole field before you choose, our note on what the cheapest AI humanizer costs per word puts every paid tool we have priced on the same scale.
