BypassGPT review of pricing, plans and a refund window that closes at 1,000 words

BypassGPT is one of the most searched humanizers in the US, and its Unlimited plan is a genuinely strong deal for heavy users. Below Unlimited it caps every paste at 500 or 1,000 words, its 3-day money-back guarantee ends once you pass 1,000 words, and its own pages give two different ways to cancel. Here is the whole ladder with the per-word math and the policy text quoted word for word.

0 / 200 words

That is more than 200 words, which is what a run without an account takes at once. Trim it, or it will stop at the limit on the next page.

No sign-up to see your result. 2 free runs a day, up to 200 words each.

The short answer

BypassGPT is an AI humanizer sold in three paid plans: Basic at $12 a month for 5,000 words, Pro at $35 for 30,000 words, and Unlimited at $39. Billed yearly they drop to $8, $15 and $19 a month. The catches are on the lower two plans. Basic takes 500 words per paste and Pro takes 1,000, so a normal article goes through in pieces. The 3-day money-back guarantee is void once you have used more than 1,000 words, and the terms and the refund policy describe two different ways to cancel. Unlimited at $19 a month billed yearly is one of the best volume offers in the category. Basic, at $1.60 per 1,000 words even on yearly billing, is one of the most expensive entry plans we have priced.

Every price was read on bypassgpt.ai on September 21, 2026, in US dollars, from the pricing page's own plan data, and matched an earlier reading of the same page.

The ladder

BypassGPT pricing, with the per-paste cap beside every price

Four plans, every USD figure, and the cost per 1,000 words if you use the whole monthly allowance. Read September 21, 2026.

Plan Monthly Yearly Paid up front Words a month Words per paste Per 1,000 words
Free $0 $0 $0 150 80 words Not a working allowance
Basic $12/mo $8/mo $96 5,000 500 words $2.40 monthly · $1.60 yearly
Pro $35/mo $15/mo $180 30,000 1,000 words $1.17 monthly · $0.50 yearly
Unlimited $39/mo $19/mo $228 Unlimited Unlimited Falls with every word you add

The per-1,000-word column is our arithmetic on BypassGPT's own figures, assuming you use the full monthly allowance. The pricing page runs a "Limited Time Flash Sale" countdown and says "Up to 61% OFF". Against the monthly prices, paying yearly saves 33 percent on Basic, 57 percent on Pro and 51 percent on Unlimited, so the yearly column is where that saving lives. We could not match the 61 percent figure to any listed price. The paid cards are drawn by script after the page loads; the figures above come from the plan data the page itself ships, in US dollars. Visitors outside the US may see euros or pounds.

Before you pay

The 3-day guarantee ends at 1,000 words, and there are two ways to cancel

The pricing page promises a "3-day money-back guarantee", and the checkout box you tick reads "I accept the Terms and 3-Day Refund Policy". The refund policy it points to adds the condition that matters:

we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to request a refund within a period of three (3) calendar days from the initial date of purchase. However, please be aware that if your word usage is over 1,000 words, you will not be eligible for a refund.

A thousand words is a fifth of the Basic allowance and one long blog post. Anyone testing the product properly will cross it on the first afternoon, so the guarantee really covers a quick look at a paragraph or two. That is not unusual in this category, but it is a long way from what "money-back guarantee" suggests on a pricing card.

Canceling has the same problem in a different shape. Section 15 of the terms says:

You can cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings.

The refund policy says something else:

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must contact us in advance to cancel your subscription. Please ensure that you reach out to our customer support team via support@bypassgpt.ai with sufficient notice before the renewal date.

Neither page says how much notice is "sufficient". The terms are dated September 15, 2023, which makes it likely the account-settings route is the one the product actually uses today. It costs nothing to do both. Cancel in settings, then send support a one-line email with the date, and keep the reply. We walk through the whole exit, with what to do about a yearly charge, in our BypassGPT refund and cancellation guide.

What the cap means in practice

How many separate pastes one document takes

BypassGPT's per-input caps from its plan data, against our 1,500-word run limit, which is the same on every plan.

Document BypassGPT Basic BypassGPT Pro BypassGPT Unlimited Undetected.ai, any plan
600-word cover letter 2 1 1 1
1,200-word blog post 3 2 1 1
1,500-word article 3 2 1 1
3,000-word report 6 3 1 2

On Basic, 500 words is roughly one long section of an essay. A 3,000-word report becomes six separate pastes, each rewritten without seeing the paragraphs around it. That is where rewritten text tends to go wrong: a sentence that pointed back to "the figures above" can come back pointing at nothing, and the tone shifts slightly at every seam. You end up proofreading five joins as well as the text.

Unlimited removes the cap entirely, and that is a real advantage over us. Our own ceiling is 1,500 words a run, so the same 3,000-word report is two runs here. We are not claiming there is no seam with us, only that on the plans most people start on there are far fewer of them. If every piece you write is under 500 words, ignore this section; the cap will never touch you.

The honest price comparison

BypassGPT is expensive at the bottom and very cheap at the top

We sell three plans. Starter is $24 per month billed yearly for 100,000 words, Pro is $49 for 300,000 and Scale is $99 for 1,000,000. Paying monthly, they are $49, $99 and $199. On yearly billing that works out at $0.24, $0.16 and $0.10 per 1,000 words.

At entry level BypassGPT costs less to start and far more per word. Basic yearly is $8 a month for 5,000 words, $1.60 per 1,000, against our $24 for 100,000 words at $0.24. At the middle, Pro yearly at $15 carries 30,000 words; our Pro at $49 carries 300,000. If you write only a few thousand words a month, BypassGPT's lower two plans are the smaller bill. If you use most of an allowance, ours cost less per word.

At the top the comparison flips, and we would rather say so than have you find out. BypassGPT Unlimited is $19 a month billed yearly with no published word limit. Our largest plan is $99 a month billed yearly for 1,000,000 words, and we do not sell an unlimited tier. If you humanize very large volumes and your documents are fine to go through without a score, Unlimited is the cheaper buy.

One thing to know before you rely on that "unlimited": the plan data behind the pricing page carries a usage figure of 3,000,000 for Unlimited, which reads like a ceiling somewhere in the system even though the page does not state one. Most people will never get near it. A content operation might, so ask support before you build a workflow on it.

The honest case for it

What BypassGPT is genuinely good at

Languages. BypassGPT says it works in over 50 languages, and it offers three rewrite modes (Fast, Creative and Enhanced) so you can trade speed against how heavily the text is reworked. Our rewrite keeps the language you paste in, but our site and our AI-pattern score are written for English readers, and we do not publish a language list. If you write in Spanish, German or Portuguese for a living, BypassGPT's published claim is the broader one.

The API is the second reason. BypassGPT publishes a separate API plan whose annual pricing, in its own words, "starts from $19/month for 50,000 words and extends up to $479/month for 5,000,000 words", with 2,000 words per input. That is a clearly documented path for a developer who wants humanizing inside their own product, and not every rival offers one.

The third is the written refund window itself. Three days and 1,000 words is narrow, but it is a published basis for a refund. Our own terms state that payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, so on paper BypassGPT gives a first-time buyer more room than we do.

Where we would push back is on the paperwork. The terms identify the seller only as "BypassGPT, doing business as BypassGPT AI", with no company form, no address and no clause saying which law governs a dispute. The privacy policy reads "Our servers are located in." with the country left blank. Several other sites also use the BypassGPT name and appear in the same search results, so check that the address bar reads bypassgpt.ai before you pay; that is the only site we read for this review.

The paid field

Entry prices across the humanizers we have read first-party

Prices move in this category. Every row carries the day we last read it on the vendor's own page.

Tool Entry price Words per run Entry allowance Read
BypassGPT $8/mo billed yearly 500 words 5,000 words a month Sep 21, 2026
Undetected.ai $24/mo billed yearly 1,500 words 100,000 words across 300 runs a month Sep 21, 2026
Twixify $5/mo billed yearly 400 words 75 requests a month Sep 18, 2026
Smodin $10.00/mo billed yearly Not published Not published, shown as "Limited" Sep 17, 2026
HIX Bypass $9.99/mo billed yearly 3,000 words 5,000 words a month Sep 16, 2026
WriteHuman $12/mo billed yearly 600 words 80 requests a month Sep 18, 2026

Rows are not strictly comparable: some vendors meter words, some meter requests, some meter both. BypassGPT's entry row pairs one of the higher prices with one of the smaller allowances, which is why its value sits almost entirely in the Unlimited tier.

Buy it, or do not

Who BypassGPT is actually the right buy for

Buy Unlimited yearly if you work at high volume. At $19 a month with no stated word or paste limit, it is among the strongest volume offers we have priced. Confirm the cancellation route with support before paying $228 up front, and ask about that 3,000,000 figure if you plan to push it hard.

Consider it if you write in a language other than English, or need an API. A published list of 50-plus languages and a documented developer plan are real reasons to choose it.

Skip Basic. $12 a month for 5,000 words and 500 words per paste is poor value against almost everything else in the table above. If you are tempted by it, the 3-day guarantee will not protect you once you have run a normal article through.

If you sit between those cases, writing a steady flow of articles, reports or client drafts, that is who we built for. Every plan takes 1,500 words in a run, so most documents go through whole, and each run shows our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons that earned it. Frequently asked

BypassGPT questions people actually search

How much is BypassGPT?

BypassGPT costs $12, $35 or $39 a month on monthly billing for its Basic, Pro and Unlimited plans. Billed yearly they are $96, $180 and $228 up front, which works out at $8, $15 and $19 a month. Basic carries 5,000 words a month and Pro 30,000. All figures were read in US dollars on bypassgpt.ai on September 21, 2026.

Is BypassGPT free?

There is a free plan, but it is a sample rather than a working allowance: 150 words a month, with each input capped at 80 words. That is enough to see what the rewrite style looks like on one paragraph. Anything longer than a short email needs Basic at $12 a month, or $8 a month billed yearly.

Does BypassGPT have a word limit?

Yes, two of them on the paid plans below Unlimited. Basic allows 5,000 words a month and 500 words per input. Pro allows 30,000 words a month and 1,000 per input. Unlimited is labeled unlimited on both counts. A 1,500-word article is therefore three separate pastes on Basic and two on Pro.

Does BypassGPT offer refunds?

Only within three calendar days of the first purchase, and only if you have used 1,000 words or fewer. The refund policy says that "if your word usage is over 1,000 words, you will not be eligible for a refund." You request it by email at support@bypassgpt.ai with your name, the plan you bought and your reason.

How do I cancel my BypassGPT subscription?

BypassGPT's terms say you can cancel at any time from your account settings, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid term. Its refund policy says you must contact support@bypassgpt.ai in advance of the renewal date. Do both: cancel in settings, then email support and keep the reply as your record.

Is BypassGPT legit?

It is a real, working product with paid plans, a documented API and a 3-day refund policy. What it does not publish is a company behind it. The terms say only "We are BypassGPT, doing business as BypassGPT AI", with no company form, address or governing-law clause, and the privacy policy leaves the server location blank.

Does BypassGPT have an API?

Yes. BypassGPT sells its API separately from the web plans. Its API page says the annual plan "starts from $19/month for 50,000 words and extends up to $479/month for 5,000,000 words", with up to 2,000 words per input. A free API allowance covers 250 words, enough to test an integration.

What is a good BypassGPT alternative?

It depends on why you are leaving. If the 500-word input cap on Basic is the problem, pick a tool with a bigger per-run ceiling. Undetected.ai takes 1,500 words a run on every plan and starts at $24 a month billed yearly for 100,000 words. If you need truly unlimited volume, BypassGPT Unlimited is hard to beat on price.
