How do I cancel my StealthWriter subscription?

For a web purchase, sign in to StealthWriter and open account settings to manage the subscription. Complete the cancellation before the renewal date and save the confirmation. The refund policy states, "You can manage your subscription at any time from your account settings". Apple subscriptions use the separate iPhone steps below.

Cancel a subscription bought on the web

1. Sign in at stealthwriter.ai using the account associated with your payment receipt.
2. Open account settings and find the subscription management controls. This is where the policy directs you to cancel.
3. Choose cancellation and complete any confirmation shown. The policy identifies account settings but does not establish a more specific button label.
4. Save the confirmation and the displayed end date. Keep any cancellation email with the original receipt.
5. If you cannot find the control or confirm the result, contact StealthWriter support and ask for written confirmation that renewal is off.

Deleting an app is not a substitute for canceling its subscription. Section 10 of StealthWriter's terms says subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. If you already know you are leaving, cancel while you can still check the account rather than waiting until the payment is due.

Cancel a subscription billed by Apple

StealthWriter has iOS apps listed in the App Store. That does not mean every iPhone user pays Apple. Check the receipt to establish who billed you, then use the matching cancellation route.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Select the StealthWriter subscription associated with your Apple purchase.

For an Apple charge, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple's refund process. StealthWriter's web refund window does not establish Apple's decision. If the subscription is absent, check that you are using the Apple account on the receipt before assuming that canceling on the web will stop it.

Does StealthWriter give refunds?

Yes, within 24 hours of a purchase or renewal if you have not used the account during that period. Its policy says, "If no humanization or other paid feature has been used since the payment was processed, we will issue a full refund for that billing period." Both conditions matter.

The policy is dated March 6, 2026. After 24 hours, or once the account has been used, payments are non-refundable under the written rule. This is not a trial where you can test the paid tools and then decide whether to keep the purchase. Leave the account unused while making your request.

Contact StealthWriter through its contact page or at contact@stealthwriter.ai. Include the account email, receipt, payment time and amount, and explain whether any paid feature has been used since payment. Ask for cancellation separately if you also want renewal stopped. A refund request alone is not proof that the subscription has been canceled.

Support hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time. Send your request promptly rather than waiting for the next support shift. The refund rule is measured from payment, and the published policy does not describe an extension for weekends or time spent waiting for a reply. Keep a copy of the message showing when you sent it, together with the receipt. That gives support a clear record of the request and the payment it concerns.

Exceptional requests are reviewed case by case at the operator's sole discretion. That is a route to ask for help outside the ordinary window, not a promise of approval. The policy also excludes refunds for accounts terminated for violations. Keep your request factual so support can identify the payment and assess the relevant condition.

What happens after I cancel StealthWriter?

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then the account reverts to the free plan. The policy says you will not be charged again after cancellation. Canceling does not itself return the current payment, so submit a separate refund request if you meet the time and usage conditions.

The free plan allows 10 humanizations a day with up to 1,000 words per input and Ghost 5.2 Mini. Paid tiers allow 5,000 words per input and access to Ghost 5.2 Pro and Legacy models. If you still need to edit a long document, note the lower input allowance that applies after paid access ends.

Keep the confirmation until you have checked the next statement. Record the effective end date rather than relying on the fact that you clicked a control. If the account still shows a future renewal, ask support to clarify its status while you have the cancellation record available.

Can I get a refund if I forgot to cancel StealthWriter?

Do not count on it. The policy explicitly says, "We cannot issue refunds if you forget to cancel before your subscription renews." It also describes a 24-hour unused-account window after renewals. If that window still applies, stop using paid features and ask support how those clauses apply to your payment.

Those statements should be read together rather than turning either into a blanket assurance. A renewal is mentioned in the refund window, but forgetting to cancel is expressly excluded as a refund reason. Give support the payment time and usage facts without describing the charge as unauthorized simply because you did not expect it.

If more than 24 hours have passed or you have already used a paid feature, the ordinary refund conditions are not met. You can still submit an exceptional request through the contact page. Cancel now to prevent another renewal, even if the answer about the payment you already made is still pending.

What it costs if you stay vs switch

StealthWriter's current pricing page lists six self-serve tiers in US dollars plus Enterprise with custom pricing. The paid ladder raises daily capacity while keeping the same 5,000 words per input. Before buying another month, compare your busiest writing day with what you are paying to reserve.

The yearly toggle says "Save 17%". Annual dollar amounts were not visible in the pricing material checked for this guide, so confirm the total at checkout. An annual discount is only useful if you want the commitment. It does not extend the refund window.

What to do about a charge after cancellation

Cancel first and keep the confirmation. If a later charge appears, compare the payment date with the cancellation record and contact StealthWriter with both. Contact your card issuer about a subscription dispute only if you were charged after cancellation. Explain the sequence accurately and provide the evidence. A dispute is not an alternative refund window for a subscription you used.

The statement name can differ from the product name. StealthWriter's payment policy says Paddle or Stripe processes payments depending on checkout. Paddle may be the merchant of record for its transactions; with Stripe, the operator is the merchant. Match the receipt and amount when you reconcile the card statement before treating an unfamiliar descriptor as another subscription.
