Ryne AI review with Ryne AI humanizer pricing, word caps and the 30% refund fee
Ryne AI is a student study suite with a humanizer inside, sold from $19.99 a month. The number that decides your plan is how many words it takes per run, and the refund you can claim loses 30% to a processing fee. Here is the live ladder and what you agree to.

The short answer
Ryne AI sells Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby at $19.99, $29.99 and $99.99 a month, or $167.99, $251.99 and $839.99 a year ($14, $21 and $70 a month). The plans are priced in coins, but what limits a writer is the per-run cap: 250 words on the no-charge tier, 750 on Sapphire, 1,500 on Emerald, and no published limit on Ruby. So the first plan that takes a whole 1,500-word essay in one paste costs $29.99 a month. Refunds need a request within 3 days, light use, and cost you a 30% processing fee. Ryne is good value if you want its full study suite. If you only want the rewriting, a dedicated humanizer does the same paste size for less.

The struck-through figure on each paid card is a permanent list price, not a timed sale; the same pairs were on the page when we first read it on September 5, 2026. The Yearly tab is marked "30% off", and the arithmetic holds: $167.99 a year is 30% below twelve payments of $19.99. Emerald adds Ryne's "Pro Algorithm", and Ruby adds priority support.
The number that decides the plan
Ryne AI word limit per run, and why it matters more than coins
Coins make the headline look generous, and on Emerald and Ruby they are unlimited. What actually limits a writer is how much text Ryne takes in one go, and that climbs 250, 750, 1,500, unlimited across the tiers.
Set that against the work students hand in. A response paper runs 750 to 1,000 words; a standard undergraduate essay 1,500 to 2,000. On Sapphire a 1,500-word essay is two separate runs, each rewritten without seeing the other half, which is how a paper ends up changing voice halfway down page two. On Emerald it is one run.
So the card that looks like the entry point, Sapphire at $19.99, is not the entry point for essays. Emerald at $29.99 is. That is the figure to compare against any other humanizer.

Before you pay
Ryne AI refund policy, 3 days and a 30% processing fee
The pricing page says nothing about refunds. The terms, section 5.2, set four conditions and a fee:
Refunds are only issued if: A request is made within 3 days of purchase. The account has not consumed more than 500 Coins. No more than 1 AI Report used. A 30% processing fee applies to refunds. Renewals of Subscriptions are non-refundable.
Three days is short but workable if you test on day one. The 500-coin ceiling is the stricter part: Sapphire comes with 10,000 coins, so you may keep only about a twentieth of the allowance untouched while you decide. And the fee means no refund is ever full. Renewals get nothing, so a missed cancellation on a yearly plan costs the whole year.
If you do cancel, do it from the subscription screen rather than by deleting the account. We walk through the steps, and what the retention screens offer, in our Ryne AI cancel subscription and refund guide.
The best refund you can get
| Plan | Paid | Fee | Back |

| Sapphire monthly | $19.99 | $6.00 | $13.99 |

| Ruby yearly | $839.99 | $252.00 | $587.99 |
Assumes a request inside 3 days, under 500 coins and at most one AI Report used, per section 5.2. Renewals are not refundable at all.

Who you are buying from
Ryne AI is a Dubai company, and its terms name two dispute routes
The terms are an agreement with Ryne AI L.L.C, licensed in the Meydan Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Section 8.1 puts the contract under the laws of that free zone and the federal laws of the UAE. For a US student paying by card, that matters mostly if something goes wrong.
And if something does go wrong, the document is not consistent. Section 8.2 says an unresolved dispute goes to binding arbitration under the DIFC-LCIA or the ICC in Dubai, or else to the courts of Dubai. Section 11, three sections later, says disputes go to binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in the UK, with the courts of England and Wales as the fallback, and no class actions. Section 8.3 adds that US customers keep whatever their own consumer law says.
None of that is unusual in isolation, and most buyers never read it. Our point is practical: with a small refund window and a fee on top, your realistic remedy for a disputed charge is your card issuer, not a tribunal. Keep a dated screenshot of the plan you bought and of the cancellation confirmation.
The terms also describe a fair-use clause (section 6.1) over the "unlimited" plans, under which heavy or automated use can be rate limited or suspended. That is standard for unlimited offers and reasonable, but it does mean unlimited has a ceiling you will not see printed.
Side by side
Ryne AI humanizer against a dedicated humanizer
Same paste size, different bundle. Where Ryne is the better buy is marked honestly.
| What you compare | Ryne AI Emerald | Undetected.ai Starter |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $29.99 | $49 |
| Yearly, per month | $21.00 | $24 |
| Words per run | 1,500 | 1,500 |
| Monthly allowance | Unlimited coins, under fair use (Ryne wins on volume) | 100,000 words across 300 runs |
| Other tools included | Chat, AI Reports, study tools (Ryne wins on breadth) | Humanizer with a before and after AI-pattern score |
| Refund on first purchase | 3 days, light use, minus 30% | See our terms |
If you need a bigger allowance, our Pro plan is $99 a month ($49 billed yearly) for 300,000 words, still at 1,500 words a run. The full ladder is on the pricing page. For the wider field, see the best AI humanizer roundup, where every paid tool is compared on the same columns.
Honest verdict
Who should buy Ryne AI, and who should not
Buy Ryne
Students who want the whole suite
Emerald takes a full essay per run, the coins stop mattering, and three AI Reports covers a normal assignment cycle. If you would pay for a study chat and report tool anyway, the bundle is fair value, especially on yearly billing at $21 a month.
Look at Ruby or elsewhere
Anyone past 1,500 words
A thesis chapter split into many pastes comes back as many separately rewritten pieces. Ruby lifts the cap, at $99.99 a month. Most humanizers, ours included, stop at a similar paste size, so plan to edit the seams yourself.
Buy a dedicated tool
People who only need the rewriting
Ryne is priced as a suite. If chat, reports and study tools are not on your list, you fund them to use one feature. A dedicated humanizer at 1,500 words a run starts at $49 a month ($24 billed yearly). That is more than Emerald, so it only makes sense if you want a fixed allowance of 100,000 words spent on humanizing alone.
Ryne also advertises high pass rates against AI detectors. We do not repeat any vendor's detector claims, ours included, because detectors change their models without notice. Test any humanizer on your own text before you commit to a year.
Questions buyers ask
Ryne AI questions, answered from its own pages
How much does Ryne AI cost?
Ryne AI costs $19.99, $29.99 or $99.99 a month for Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby on monthly billing. On yearly billing it is $167.99, $251.99 or $839.99 up front, which works out to $14, $21 and $70 a month. A no-charge Amethyst tier gives 100 coins and 250 words per run. Prices read in US dollars on ryne.ai on September 28, 2026.
Is Ryne AI worth it?
For a student who wants the whole study suite and writes essays of 1,500 words or less, Emerald is a fair buy. If you only need the humanizer, you pay for chat, reports and study tools you may never open, and the cheapest plan that takes a full essay in one paste is $29.99 a month.
Does Ryne AI give refunds?
Only narrowly. Section 5.2 of the terms allows a refund if you ask within 3 days of purchase, have used no more than 500 coins and no more than one AI Report, and a 30% processing fee is deducted. Renewals are non-refundable. On a $29.99 Emerald month that means $20.99 back at best.
How many words can Ryne AI humanize at once?
It depends on the plan. Amethyst takes 250 words per run, Sapphire 750, Emerald 1,500, and Ruby has no published per-run limit. A standard 1,500-word essay goes through in one paste only from Emerald upward; on Sapphire it takes two runs and on the no-charge tier six.
How do I cancel Ryne AI?
Cancel the subscription from your account settings before the renewal date, which section 5.4 of the terms requires. Expect a reason question and a retention offer or a pause option first. Do not delete the account instead: section 10 says access ends immediately on termination, and unused coins expire when a plan is not renewed.
Who owns Ryne AI?
The terms name Ryne AI L.L.C, licensed in the Meydan Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with UAE law governing. The dispute section is inconsistent: section 8.2 points to arbitration in Dubai, while section 11 points to American Arbitration Association rules with the arbitration seated in the UK.
Do Ryne AI coins roll over?
Yes, while you keep paying. Section 5.3 says unused coins roll over to the next billing period, and that they expire if the subscription is not renewed. Emerald and Ruby have unlimited coins anyway, subject to the fair-use clause in section 6.1.
What is a good Ryne AI alternative?
If you only need the humanizer, a dedicated tool gives you the same paste size without paying for a study suite. Undetected.ai takes 1,500 words per run on every plan, from $49 a month for 100,000 words, or $24 a month billed yearly. That costs more than Emerald, and buys a fixed, published word allowance instead of fair-use coins. If you want the study suite as well, Ryne Emerald is the fairer comparison.
