Conch AI review of Conch AI humanizer pricing, the 1 million token cap and the refund question
Conch AI is a student writing suite with a humanizer, an essay writer, citations and study tools in one plan. It now costs $30 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly, which is roughly three times what it charged in June. Most reviews you will find still quote the old price. Below is the live ladder, what "unlimited" means in the terms, and the two refund answers the site gives.

The short answer
Conch AI sells a single paid plan called Limitless for $30 a month, $21 a month billed quarterly, or $12 a month billed yearly ($144 up front), with 10 percent off for .edu addresses. In June 2026 the same plan cost $9.99, $7.99 and $3.99. The plan is sold as unlimited, but the terms cap every account at 1 million tokens a month. The pricing page promises a 7-day money-back guarantee while section 8 of the terms says all purchases are non-refundable. It is a good bundle if you want study tools with your humanizer, and an expensive one if the humanizer is all you use.
Every price was read on getconch.ai on September 24, 2026, in US dollars, through the rendered page, the raw HTML and the plan data in the page script, which all agree. The refund, cancellation and company details come from the Conch AI terms, which carry a "Last Updated" date of April 8, 2025.

Tokens a month, the ceiling section 6 of the terms puts on the plan the pricing page calls unlimited.
Every billing cycle unlocks the same features: the humanizer with its rewriting modes, flashcards and notes, mind maps, citation help and priority support. You are choosing a commitment length, not a tier. The quarterly option saves 30 percent and is the sensible middle ground for a single semester. We found only US dollars on the page, whole-dollar prices, and no countdown or sale window in any of the site's scripts, so these look like standing prices rather than a promotion.
Why the numbers disagree
Most Conch AI reviews quote a price that no longer exists
If you have read about Conch before landing here, you probably saw $9.99 a month, or $3.99 on annual billing. Those were real prices. Archived copies of the Conch pricing page from May 12 and June 16, 2026 show exactly that ladder, plus a separate student offer at $3.99. Several directory and review sites still carry those figures, and some of them also mention a 30-day money-back guarantee that we could not find anywhere on the current site.
The live page is different. The monthly rate is now $30, quarterly is $21 a month and yearly is $12 a month. On annual billing that is a jump from $47.88 to $144 for the same plan in about three months. There is nothing wrong with a company repricing its product, and the new prices are in line with the upper half of this category. It matters for one practical reason: if you budgeted from a review, you are about to pay three times what you expected, and the yearly option takes the whole $144 at checkout.
For a sense of scale, $12 a month billed yearly is half our entry price of $24, and $30 a month billed monthly is below our Starter rate of $49. It is also the same as the $30 monthly figure US listings give for Grammarly Pro. Conch has moved out of the budget tier.
The fine print
What "unlimited" means in the Conch AI terms
The plan card lists "Unlimited AI words" and "No daily limits". The terms of service, section 6, add the ceiling:
The term 'unlimited' is limited to a maximum of tokens per user, per month. The maximum limit for all accounts is 1 million tokens.
A token is the unit language models count in, and it is a fragment of a word rather than a whole one, so a million tokens is fewer than a million words of output. It is still a very large allowance. A student humanizing a few essays a week will never get near it, and neither will most freelance writers. The cap is worth knowing about for two reasons. The word "unlimited" on the pricing page is not the whole story, and the same monthly pool also pays for the essay writer, flashcards, mind maps and the rest of the suite, so a heavy study month and a heavy writing month draw on one balance.
The free side is harder to pin down. The site says "All users who sign up get access to 10 free credits daily", but we could not find a published rate for how many credits one humanizer run costs. That makes the free allowance useful for testing the rewrite style and not much else, because you cannot plan work around a number you do not know.
What the page also does not publish is a per-run word ceiling for the humanizer. Some tools in this category cap a single paste at 400 or 500 words, which forces a long essay into pieces. We could not confirm Conch's figure either way, so if you routinely humanize full papers, paste a long one on the free credits before you pay. For comparison, every Undetected.ai plan takes 1,500 words in a single run and publishes that number on the pricing page.
Before you pay
A 7-day money-back guarantee, and terms that say no refunds
This is the finding that matters most if you are about to put $144 on a card. The FAQ on the Conch pricing page says:
Yes, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact us for a full refund.
Section 8 of the terms of service, headed Cancellation, says the opposite:
All purchases are non-refundable.
Section 11, which covers API purchases, goes further and refuses refunds "regardless of actual usage, service interruptions, or account termination". The terms page carries a date of April 8, 2025, so the simplest reading is that the pricing page was rewritten more recently than the terms and nobody reconciled the two. That is common with small software companies. It still leaves you, the buyer, holding two written answers to the same question.
Our practical advice: if you buy and change your mind, write to help@getconch.ai inside seven days, quote the pricing page guarantee word for word, and keep a screenshot of that page dated the day you paid. A written promise made at the point of sale is the strongest thing you have. If the charge is refused and you believe the guarantee applied, a dispute with your card issuer is the fallback, and it helps to be able to show the promise you relied on.
Cancelling is simpler. The terms say "You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account" and that "Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term." So you keep access until the period you paid for runs out, and the renewal stops. Section 5 adds that you "consent to our charging your payment method without requiring prior approval for each charge", which is standard wording but worth knowing on a yearly plan: the renewal is a single $144 charge with no separate approval step. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you subscribe.
For comparison, and to be fair about it: our own terms say payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, so a Conch guarantee that is honored is more generous than ours. What we try to do instead is make the product easy to judge before you pay, with a one-time trial of three runs of up to 300 words each and prices that are the same on every page of the site.
Who you are buying from
Yofi Tech, LLC of Plainview, New York
Conch does better than several rivals on the basic question of who is behind it. The terms name Yofi Tech, LLC at 23 Westbury Avenue, Plainview, NY 11803, and the Chrome Web Store listing shows the same company and address. Disputes are governed by Delaware law, go through 30 days of informal negotiation first, and then to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association in Delaware. Class actions are waived, claims have to be brought within a year, and liability is capped at what you paid in the previous six months.
None of that is unusual for US consumer software. Two smaller details are worth a mention. Section 1 of the terms says the service is for users aged 18 and over, although the product is marketed heavily to students, and section 10 prohibits "any form of academic dishonesty" while the Chrome extension listing markets the humanizer as a way to get past named AI detectors, Turnitin among them. If you are a student, read your school's policy on AI assistance before you rely on any humanizer, ours included.
The homepage also carries large audience and rating figures. We could not verify them, and the Chrome Web Store listing shows 208 ratings, so we have not repeated them here.

Conch AI against the humanizers we have priced
Entry price on yearly billing, the monthly rate, and what the allowance covers. Each row carries the date we read it.
| Tool | Entry price, yearly | Entry price, monthly | Monthly allowance | Read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conch AI | $12/mo billed yearly ($144) | $30 | "Unlimited", capped at 1 million tokens a month in the terms | Sep 24, 2026 |
| Undetected.ai | $24/mo billed yearly | $49 | 100,000 words across 300 runs a month, 1,500 words a run | Sep 24, 2026 |
| Netus AI | $8.08/mo billed yearly | $14 | 15,000 words, shared with other tools | Sep 22, 2026 |
| BypassGPT | $8/mo billed yearly | $12 | 5,000 words a month, 500 words per input | Sep 21, 2026 |
| Undetectable AI | $5/mo billed yearly | $9.99 | 10,000 words a month | Sep 24, 2026 |
| Twixify | $5/mo billed yearly | See review | 75 requests a month, 400 words each | Sep 18, 2026 |
Conch now has the highest entry price in this table on both yearly and monthly billing, and by a wide margin the largest allowance, because it sells one big plan rather than a ladder. Which of those two facts matters depends on how much you write.
Honest verdict
Where Conch AI is the better buy, and where we are
Start with where Conch wins, because it wins clearly in two places. The first is volume. A million tokens a month for $12 billed yearly is far more text per dollar than our Scale plan, which carries 1,000,000 words for $99 a month billed yearly. If you genuinely push hundreds of thousands of words a month through a humanizer and are happy to commit for a year, Conch is the cheaper tool per word and we would rather say so.
The second is breadth. Conch bundles an essay writer, a research assistant, flashcards, mind maps, quizzes, a study planner, chat with PDFs and citation help in APA, MLA, Chicago and Harvard. We sell a humanizer and nothing else. If you would otherwise pay for a study app and a citation tool separately, that bundle is the reason to buy Conch.
Where we would argue for ourselves is narrower. We are not the cheaper option to start: $24 a month billed yearly or $49 monthly against Conch's $12 and $30, for 100,000 words a month. What that buys, if humanizing is the job, is a plan priced in plain words, the per-run limit of 1,500 words is published on every tier, and the price you see here is the price on our own pricing page, with no second answer hiding in the terms. We also show our own AI-pattern score before and after each rewrite with the reasons behind the number, so you can see what changed. Neither we nor Conch can show you a verdict from Turnitin, GPTZero or any other detector in advance, and a humanizer that implies otherwise is overselling.
Short version: buy Conch if you want the student suite or very high volume on a yearly commitment, and request any refund in writing inside seven days. Buy a specialist if you want a low monthly price, published per-run limits and one clear set of terms. The wider field is compared in our best AI humanizer roundup, and if Conch appealed to you as a student tool, our AI humanizer for students page covers what to check before using any humanizer on coursework.
Questions buyers ask
Conch AI pricing, limits and refunds
How much is Conch AI?
Conch AI sells one paid plan, Limitless, at $30 a month billed monthly, $21 a month billed quarterly ($63 every three months) or $12 a month billed yearly ($144 up front). Students with a .edu address get 10 percent off. Every figure was read in US dollars on getconch.ai on September 24, 2026.
Why is Conch AI more expensive than reviews say?
Because the price went up. Archived copies of the Conch pricing page from May and June 2026 show $9.99 monthly, $7.99 quarterly and $3.99 yearly. The live page now charges $30, $21 and $12. Most review sites still quote the old figures, so check the live page before you budget from a third-party number.
Is Conch AI free?
Partly. Conch gives every account 10 free credits a day, but the site does not say how many credits one humanizer run costs, so the daily allowance is hard to translate into words. The paid Limitless plan removes the daily limits. Treat the credits as a way to test the rewrite style, not as a working plan.
Is Conch AI really unlimited?
No. The pricing page lists "Unlimited AI words", but section 6 of the terms says the term "is limited to a maximum of tokens per user, per month" and that "the maximum limit for all accounts is 1 million tokens." A token is a fragment of a word, so the real monthly ceiling is below a million words.
Does Conch AI give refunds?
The site gives two answers. The pricing FAQ promises "a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans". Section 8 of the terms says "All purchases are non-refundable", and API purchases are refused "regardless of actual usage". If you want the 7-day refund, request it in writing inside the window and quote the pricing page.
How do I cancel my Conch AI subscription?
Log in and cancel from your account. Section 8 of the terms says "You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account" and that "Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term." Screenshot the confirmation, because a yearly renewal is a single $144 charge.
Is Conch AI legit?
It is a real product from a named US company, Yofi Tech, LLC of Plainview, New York, with Delaware governing law and AAA arbitration in its terms. The things to weigh are the contradictory refund wording, a price that roughly tripled in three months, and an "unlimited" plan that the terms cap at 1 million tokens.
What is a good Conch AI alternative?
If you only need a humanizer, a specialist sized in plain words may suit you better, though it is not cheaper to start: Undetected.ai is $24 a month billed yearly or $49 monthly for 100,000 words, with 1,500 words a run on every plan. If you want flashcards, citations and mind maps in the same subscription, Conch is the broader bundle.
