Twixify Cancel Subscription Terms With the 2-Month Clause and Refunds

Twixify says "Cancel anytime" in its footer and a two-payment minimum in its terms. The Stripe cancel path, the three refund grounds, and what to ask first.

That is more than 200 words, which is what a run without an account takes at once. Trim it, or it will stop at the limit on the next page.

No sign-up to see your result. 2 free runs a day, up to 200 words each.

To cancel Twixify, open twixify.com/cancel-subscription and click "Cancel / Edit Your Subscription", which takes you to the Stripe billing page where the plan is managed. The part to check first is whether you are allowed to yet: Twixify's footer says "Cancel anytime", but section 4 a) of its terms says "You may cancel your plan after a minimum of 2 months (2 payments) has elapsed." Both were live on September 18, 2026. If you are inside your first two months, email help@twixify.com before you cancel and get the answer in writing.

Every line quoted below was read first-party on twixify.com on September 18, 2026. Policies in this category change without notice, so compare the wording with what you see today before you act on it.

How do I cancel my Twixify subscription?

Twixify has a dedicated page for it, and the path is short. Go to twixify.com/cancel-subscription. The page is headed "Cancel Plan" with the line "Manage Your Plan Directly On Stripe", and the button underneath reads "Cancel / Edit Your Subscription". That opens Stripe's customer portal, where you confirm the cancellation against the email your Twixify account uses.

Three practical points make this go smoothly:

  • Use the same email you paid with. Stripe identifies the subscription by the billing email. The cancel page has a separate link for exactly this problem, "If you forgot your account email? Contact us.", which tells you it trips people up.
  • Keep the Stripe confirmation. Stripe sends a receipt when a subscription is canceled. That email, with its date, is your record if a charge appears later.
  • Check the next statement. Look for one more charge from Twixify on the date your plan would have renewed. If it appears after the confirmed cancellation date, you have the evidence you need to dispute it.

Once the portal confirms, your plan stops renewing. Twixify does not state on the cancel page whether access continues to the end of the paid period, which is the usual Stripe behavior, so plan on finishing any work you need before you press the button.

Can you cancel Twixify anytime?

Twixify's own documents disagree. This is the one place in the process where it pays to slow down, because the three answers are all on the same site.

Where on twixify.comWhat it says, verbatim
Footer on every page"Free Trial Available. Cancel anytime."
Privacy policy, section 6"You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are available if the majority of your credit has not been used."
Terms and conditions, section 4 a)"You may cancel your plan after a minimum of 2 months (2 payments) has elapsed."

Two of those say any time. The terms say two payments first, and give a reason: AI detectors update often, so a dip in how well Twixify works is "usually just a temporary effect", and the company would like you to wait for the fix before leaving.

The fair reading is that the terms are older than the rest of the site. Both the terms and the privacy policy describe Twixify as "a recurring monthly subscription", yet the pricing page now sells yearly plans too, which suggests the legal text was not revisited when the ladder changed. Support may well treat the footer as the real rule. We cannot tell you which one they apply, and neither can anyone else who has not asked them.

So ask. Email help@twixify.com, say which plan you are on and when you subscribed, and ask whether the two-month minimum applies. Keep the reply. If the answer is "cancel whenever you like", you have it in writing. If it is "not until the second payment", you have learned that before the charge rather than after it.

Does Twixify give refunds?

Yes, on paper, and the written grounds are broader than most humanizers publish. Section 4 b) of the terms lists three situations where "Refunds are available":

1. The user is unsatisfied with the output text. 2. The user accidentally purchased wrong plan. 3. The type of text the user had processed was incompatible with the Twixify software, which hindered it's effectiveness.

The privacy policy adds a different condition: refunds are available "if the majority of your credit has not been used". Those are two different tests. One is about whether you liked the output, the other about how much of the allowance you spent. A request that meets one may not meet the other.

Credit where it is due: "unsatisfied with the output text" is a generous written basis. Our own terms say payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, so on this specific point Twixify's paperwork is kinder to the buyer than ours.

If you want to use it, the request that works best is specific. Write to help@twixify.com, quote the ground you are relying on by its number in section 4 b), give the date and amount of the charge, and say how many requests you have used. That lets them check it against both tests at once. If the reply does not arrive in a reasonable time, your card issuer's dispute process is the fallback, and the email thread is what you will show them.

What does Twixify cost if I stay?

Before canceling, it helps to know what the alternatives on Twixify's own ladder are. These are the figures from twixify.com/pricing on September 18, 2026:

PlanMonthlyYearlyWords per requestRequests
Basic$8/mo$5/mo ($60 up front)40075 a month
Standard$13/mo$9/mo ($108 up front)600150 a month
Premium$27/mo$20/mo ($240 up front)900 monthly, 1,000 yearly200 monthly, unlimited yearly

If price is the only complaint, dropping from Premium monthly to Standard monthly saves $14 a month, and you keep the echowriting feature, which works on every tier. If the problem is that your documents keep hitting the 400 or 600 word ceiling and you are pasting them in pieces, a cheaper Twixify tier makes that worse, not better. We laid out the whole ladder, including cost per 1,000 words and how many pastes a typical document takes on each plan, in our Twixify review and pricing breakdown.

Is the yearly Twixify plan refundable?

Nothing on the site treats yearly plans differently from monthly ones. The refund grounds in section 4 b) and the "majority of your credit" test in the privacy policy are the only published rules, and neither mentions the billing term. That matters most on yearly Premium, which is $240 charged at once.

Two things follow. First, if you are thinking of switching to yearly to save money, get the cancellation and refund answer from support in writing before you do, because the amount at stake goes from one month's fee to a year's. Second, if you are already on a yearly plan and want out early, the "majority of your credit has not been used" test is the one most likely to work in your favor, so say how little of it you have used when you write.

One more detail for US buyers. The privacy policy names the company as Twixify PTY LTD, and the terms say they are "governed by the laws of Sydney, NSW, Australia", even though every page footer reads "Based in Dallas, TX". None of that stops a refund. It does mean that a formal dispute would sit under Australian law, which is one more reason to settle things by email while the amounts are small.

What to keep for your records

Whatever route you take, keep four things: the Stripe cancellation receipt, the reply from support, the receipt for each charge, and a note of how many requests you used. If you bill Twixify as a business expense, those receipts also belong with the rest of your software costs when you file your Schedule C, because a subscription you canceled mid-year is still deductible for the months you paid.

Should I cancel Twixify or switch tools?

Cancel if the output is the problem. Downgrade if the output is fine and only the bill is too high. The case that is easy to miss is the third one: the output is fine, but your documents are longer than Twixify's per-request ceiling, so every essay or report comes back in several separately rewritten pieces that you then stitch and smooth by hand. That is a limit of the plan's shape, not something a better paste technique fixes.

That third case is who we built Undetected.ai for. Every plan takes up to 1,500 words in a single run, so a normal article goes through whole, and each run shows our own AI-pattern score before and after with the reason behind every point it gives back. Our plans start at $24 a month billed yearly for 100,000 words across 300 runs a month. We will be straight about the trade: Twixify costs less to start and is cheaper per word at its bottom tier, and we have nothing like its style matching. If you rely on echowriting, stay on Twixify and downgrade. If you are tired of splitting documents, compare our plans and word allowances, or see the two side by side in our Twixify vs Undetected AI comparison.

If you are shopping the whole field before you choose, our note on what the cheapest AI humanizer costs per word puts every paid tool we have priced on the same scale.
