ZeroGPT Humanizer Review With Pricing and the Upgrade It Sells
ZeroGPT rates its own public humanizer under 50% and sends upgraders to a different company. What its $8.99 to $30.99 plans include for humanizing, and why refunds close after ten hours.

The ZeroGPT humanizer on the public page is a basic model that ZeroGPT itself says scores as human less than 50% of the time, and its upgrade button sends you to Undetectable AI, a separate paid product. ZeroGPT's own plans cost $14.99, $21.99 or $30.99 a month, or $8.99, $13.99 and $19.99 billed yearly, and list the humanizer with no word figure. Refunds close ten hours after purchase.
We read those figures on zerogpt.com on October 12, 2026: the pricing page, the humanizer page and the terms of use, which were updated five days earlier. ZeroGPT is best known as an AI detector, and the humanizer is one of about a dozen tools around it. This review covers what the humanizer gives you, what you would pay to get more, and who you would be paying. It is written by Undetected.ai, a competing humanizer, and every ZeroGPT figure comes from ZeroGPT's own pages.
ZeroGPT humanizer pricing on every plan
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Humanizer | Paraphraser limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZeroGPT public page | $0 | $0 | Basic Public Model | Not stated |
| ZeroGPT Pro | $14.99 | $8.99 a month ($107.88 a year) | Listed, no word figure | 300 words |
| ZeroGPT Plus | $21.99 | $13.99 a month ($167.88 a year) | Listed, no word figure | 300 words |
| ZeroGPT Max | $30.99 | $19.99 a month ($239.88 a year) | Listed, no word figure | 5,000 words |
| ZeroGPT API | Pay as you go | $0.25 per 1,000 words | Priced separately | |
Every paid card carries the same line for the humanizer: "Humanize AI generated text". That is all. The cards around it are precise. The summarizer gets 1,500 words on Pro, the grammar checker 1,000, the translator 500, the paraphraser 300. For the humanizer there is no number on any plan, and nothing says the paid plans run a better humanizer model than the public page does.
The banner above the cards reads "40% off annually". That holds for Pro, where $8.99 is 40% under $14.99. Plus and Max save about 36% and 35%. The yearly figures are charged up front, so the smallest yearly commitment is $107.88.
The one place ZeroGPT puts a price on humanizing is its API table, at $0.25 per 1,000 words. That is a fair pay-as-you-go rate for a developer, and close to what dedicated humanizers charge on a subscription. It does not help someone who wants a box to paste into.
Is the ZeroGPT humanizer free
Yes, the public tool is free. ZeroGPT's FAQ says it offers "a free AI humanizer for everyday use" that works "without limits or registration". The catch is in what you get. A banner at the top of the tool says "You're using the Basic Humanizer", and under the result box sits a warning that AI detectors "might still flag your text with the Basic Public Model".
ZeroGPT then scores its own free tool for you. A comparison block on the same page gives the Basic Public Model a "Score as Human Rate" of under 50% with average readability, and sets it against 99% for an advanced model. Those are ZeroGPT's marketing figures, not test results we ran, and no method is published for either one. Still, it is unusual for a vendor to rate its own tool below a coin flip, and worth knowing before you rely on it for anything that matters.
The upgrade button leads to Undetectable AI
This is the part most buyers miss. The advanced model is not a ZeroGPT plan. The block is titled "Basic vs Undetectable's Advanced Model", and the Continue, "Powered by" and "Switch to Advanced Model" buttons all link to undetectable.ai with a ZeroGPT tracking tag. Step four of ZeroGPT's own instructions says to "upgrade to the Advanced Humanizer provided by Undetectable AI".
So there are two different purchases on the table, and they are easy to confuse:
| If you click | You pay | What you get for humanizing |
|---|---|---|
| Get Started on ZeroGPT's pricing page | ZeroGPT, $8.99 to $30.99 a month | The detector suite, plus a humanizer with no stated allowance |
| Switch to Advanced Model on the humanizer page | Undetectable AI, a different company | Its humanizer, on its own word plans and its own terms |
A ZeroGPT subscription does not include Undetectable AI, and an Undetectable AI subscription does not include ZeroGPT's detector limits. If the advanced model is what you want, you are really choosing a standalone humanizer, and you should compare that market directly. Undetectable AI starts at $9.99 a month for 10,000 words, or $5 a month billed yearly; our Undetectable AI pricing breakdown lists every tier and what a thousand words cost on each.
ZeroGPT refund policy and cancelling
ZeroGPT's terms of use were updated on October 7, 2026, and the refund section is short on time. For a first subscription bought directly from ZeroGPT, you may ask for a full refund within ten hours of the purchase. If you bought an annual plan by accident, the window is twelve hours. That is the whole window: hours, not days.
The limits around it are strict too. Refunds are capped at one per customer. Renewal payments, partially used periods, API credits and account balances are listed as non-refundable. Requests go by email to ZeroGPT support and must arrive inside the window. Cancelling is done in your account and takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the terms say cancelling "does not automatically entitle you to a refund".
Ten hours is the shortest refund window we have read in this category. Walter Writes and GPTinf give three days, Writesonic seven, and even those feel tight. In practice it means you should treat a ZeroGPT yearly plan as final the moment you pay. Test the free tools first, since the paid cards do not promise a different humanizer, and start on monthly billing if you want an exit.
The terms also change, which is easy to overlook. The version we read was five days old. If you manage several writing subscriptions for a team, it is worth having something watch each vendor's pricing page for changes, so a new price or a shorter refund window does not reach you first as a card charge.
Is ZeroGPT Pro worth it for humanizing
For detection, the plans are clear and cheap: 100,000 characters per check and batch files from $8.99 a month. If you need a detector with PDF reports, that is what the money buys, and ZeroGPT Pro is one of the lower-priced ways to get it.
For humanizing, we would not buy it. You would be paying for a feature with no published allowance, no published run limit and no statement that it differs from the free basic model that ZeroGPT itself rates under 50%. The company's own page answers the question for you by pointing serious users to another vendor.
That leaves the real decision: which dedicated humanizer. Three things are worth checking on any of them before a card goes in. How many words a month the plan includes. How many words fit in one run, so a full essay section or article goes in at once. And whether the tool shows you what it changed, so you are not trusting a single percentage.
Our Starter plan is $24 a month billed yearly for 100,000 words, about $0.24 per 1,000 words, which is about the same per-word rate as ZeroGPT's API with a paste box attached. Each run takes up to 1,500 words and reports our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the patterns it found named. We do not promise a result on any detector, because detectors are retrained and disagree with each other, and ZeroGPT's own terms say the same about its humanizer. You can run a short sample with no sign-up, and every plan is on the pricing page.

ZeroGPT humanizer questions buyers ask
Is ZeroGPT humanizer good?
For light use it is a basic rewriter, and ZeroGPT says so itself. Its humanizer page labels the public tool the "Basic Public Model", rates it under 50% on its own "Score as Human Rate", and warns that detectors might still flag the output. For anything important, ZeroGPT directs users to a separate paid product.
How much does ZeroGPT cost?
ZeroGPT Pro costs $14.99 a month or $8.99 a month billed yearly ($107.88). Plus is $21.99 or $13.99 ($167.88 a year). Max is $30.99 or $19.99 ($239.88 a year). A no-cost tier exists with lower limits, and API use is billed per 1,000 words. Prices were read on October 12, 2026.
Does ZeroGPT Pro include the advanced humanizer?
Nothing on ZeroGPT's pricing page says so. Pro, Plus and Max each list "Humanize AI generated text" with no word figure and no model name. The advanced model promoted on the humanizer page belongs to Undetectable AI, and its buttons lead to that company's site, where it is sold on separate plans.
Does ZeroGPT give refunds?
Only within hours. The terms updated on October 7, 2026 allow a full refund of a first subscription within ten hours of purchase, or twelve hours for an accidental annual purchase, once per customer. Renewals, used periods and API credits are non-refundable. Requests must be emailed to ZeroGPT support inside that window.
Who owns ZeroGPT?
ZeroGPT's terms of use name Olive Works LLC, a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, as the operator. Undetectable AI, which supplies the advanced humanizer promoted on ZeroGPT's page, is a different company with its own pricing and terms. Buying one does not give you an account with the other.
What is the best ZeroGPT humanizer alternative?
A dedicated humanizer that publishes its word allowance and run limit. Compare monthly words, words per run and price per 1,000 words, then test a passage of your own. Undetected.ai takes 1,500 words per run and shows what it changed, and you can try a sample before creating an account.
