StealthGPT review of humanizer pricing and what the $1 trial turns into

StealthGPT sells three plans on three billing tabs, and its price page opens on the weekly one. The $1 trial is real and cheap. What it renews into is the part worth reading before you enter a card, along with a no-refund rule and an "unlimited" that the terms cap.

The short answer

StealthGPT (stealthgpt.ai) sells Pro, Max and Enterprise. Pro is $6.99 a week for 12,500 words a week, $29.99 a month for 50,000 words, or $24.99 a month on the yearly tab. Max is $19.99 a week, $49.99 a month or $41.99 a month yearly, for 200,000 words a month. Enterprise is $179.99 a month, or $149.99 a month billed yearly, for 1,000,000+ words. A single request is capped at 1,000 words on Pro and 2,000 on Max. New users can start Pro or Max for $1 for three days, after which the plan price is charged. Under its terms all purchases are non-refundable, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid term.

Read on October 14, 2026 from StealthGPT's price page, homepage and terms of service, in US dollars. The price page sits behind a browser check that blocks automated reads, so it was read in an ordinary desktop browser with each billing tab clicked. Monthly equivalents and per-word figures are our arithmetic.

The ladder

StealthGPT pricing on all three billing tabs

Three plans, every USD figure, the words each one carries and the cost per 1,000 words. Read October 14, 2026.

Plan Weekly tab Monthly tab Yearly tab Words Per request Per 1,000 words
Pro $6.99/wk for 12,500 words $29.99/mo $24.99/mo 50,000 a month 1,000 words $0.56 weekly · $0.60 monthly · $0.50 yearly
Max $19.99/wk for 50,000 words $49.99/mo $41.99/mo 200,000 a month 2,000 words $0.40 weekly · $0.25 monthly · $0.21 yearly
Enterprise No weekly plan $179.99/mo $149.99/mo 1,000,000+ a month 10,000+ words $0.18 monthly · $0.15 yearly

The per-1,000-word column is our arithmetic on StealthGPT's own figures. Every plan lists the humanizer and the built-in detector, support for 100+ languages, the iOS app, the Chrome extension and use inside Claude, Cursor and other tools through MCP. Max adds three teammate seats and priority support. Enterprise adds five seats, a dedicated support channel, API access and what the card calls custom fine-tuned models. The feature table also splits file uploads: Pro takes .doc and .txt, while Max and Enterprise take PDFs and images.

Two details on the yearly tab need a careful read. The Pro card says "$5.99 off your first year" and the Max card says "$18.99 off your first year", without saying what the discount is measured from, and neither card prints the total charged up front. If the monthly figure is billed for twelve months, Pro comes to $299.88 and Max to $503.88; Enterprise, which is labeled "Billed yearly", comes to $1,799.88. The green badge above the cards says "Save up to 52.5% with yearly". The biggest gap we can work out from the cards themselves, Max yearly against Max bought weekly for 52 weeks, is about 51.5 percent, so the badge is close but we could not reproduce it exactly.

Each Pro and Max card also has an "Add Samurai" checkbox. The pricing FAQ answers "What is the Samurai engine" with one line, "Samurai adds extra 10,000 words", and the card does not show a price for it, so we cannot tell you what it costs without starting a checkout.

Follow the dollar

The $1 trial and the five prices it can turn into

Each step below is a month of spend. Weekly prices are multiplied by 52 and divided by 12.

The trial is a good offer for what it is. One dollar buys three days on Pro or Max, enough to run your own drafts through the paid model rather than a demo. The banner across the top of the site limits it to new users, and the footnote under the cards calls it a limited trial offer.

What decides the bill is which tab was selected when you clicked. The page loads on Weekly. Leave it there and the Pro trial renews at $6.99 a week, which is about $30.29 a month and a little more than the monthly tab's $29.99, with the word allowance doled out 12,500 at a time. On Max the difference is large: $19.99 a week is about $86.62 a month, against $49.99 on the monthly tab and $41.99 on the yearly one. Weekly billing makes sense for a single deadline week. For anyone who keeps the tool, it is the most expensive way to buy the same plan.

The yearly tab shows no $1 offer at all, so you cannot trial the cheapest per-word price. A sensible order is to take the $1 trial on the Monthly tab, decide within three days, and only then move to yearly if the writing suits you. Cancel before the third day if it does not, because the terms make the renewal non-refundable.

Before you pay

No refunds as a rule and an unlimited that has a ceiling

The price page says "Cancel anytime" and its FAQ adds that you can cancel "directly from your account page. No long-term commitments." Neither mentions refunds. The rule is in section 8 of the terms of service:

All purchases are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term.

Section 31 sets out one exception, a conditional money-back policy. To use it you send a screenshot from a third-party AI checker showing that a StealthGPT response was flagged. Weekly and monthly subscribers then get the current billing cycle back, and yearly subscribers get the affected month plus a prorated share of the rest. It does not apply if you used a response that StealthGPT's own built-in score had already marked as likely to be flagged, and screenshots from Originality.ai are not accepted. Treat it as a narrow clause with conditions, not as a general refund window. The terms also include a waiver of withdrawal rights for digital services, while keeping any consumer rights the law does not let a company remove.

The second clause worth a look is section 7, on unlimited use:

The limit depends on which subscription the user selects but the maximum limit for all accounts is 1 million tokens. Beyond this limit, StealthGPT reserves the right to refuse service to the user.

The current plan cards do not use the word unlimited. They give fixed word counts, and section 6 of the terms, effective September 4, 2026, lists the same figures. But the pricing FAQ still answers "What does unlimited words mean?", and the Enterprise card says 1,000,000+ words. A token is usually shorter than a word, so a cap of 1 million tokens can arrive before 1 million words. If you are buying Enterprise for volume, ask support in writing what the real ceiling is.

Payments run through Stripe in US dollars, with sales tax added where required, and the terms say prices can change at any time. Disputes go to 30 days of informal negotiation and then to binding arbitration under AAA rules in Delaware, with Wyoming law governing the agreement. The company named in the footer is XYZ AI, Inc.

If you are cancelling another tool at the same time, our guides to Undetectable AI refunds and cancellation and cancelling Phrasly walk through the same steps for those companies.

The product

What the StealthGPT humanizer and the rest of the suite do

2 models

Super and Stealth Lite

The paste box on the homepage defaults to a model called Super, a full rewrite. Stealth Lite, added for all users, keeps the draft closer to the original and cleans up stock phrases and robotic wording. Tones are Standard, High School, College and Ph.D.

9+ tools

A writing suite, not one box

Alongside the humanizer: an AI detector, Stealth Writer for essays with citations, Stealth Agent for research and drafting, Chat with PDF, an SEO writer, Photo to Answers, a summarizer, a grammar checker and several watermark removers.

4 surfaces

Web, iOS, Chrome and MCP

Every plan includes the iOS app and the Chrome extension, whose version 3.0 adds what StealthGPT calls Human Typing, an auto-typer that enters pasted text into a field keystroke by keystroke. MCP connects it to Claude, Cursor and n8n. The REST API is on Enterprise only.

StealthGPT markets itself as a humanizer and AI writer, and nearly every headline on its site is a claim about AI detectors. We do not repeat those claims here because we cannot test them, and neither can you from a marketing page. The fair way to judge any humanizer is to run your own text through the trial and read the output for meaning and tone, then check it in the detector you actually face. The same goes for the watermark removers: we have no way to verify what they remove.

The built-in StealthGPT AI detector, which most people search for alongside the humanizer, is included on every plan and has a free page that needs no signup. Its score is StealthGPT's own estimate. A score from any tool's built-in checker tells you what that tool thinks, not what a school's or a client's checker will report.

Two smaller things we noticed while reading. The homepage and the price page give different company stats: the homepage says 967 satisfied companies and 9.4M+ documents processed, the price page 810 companies and 50M+ documents, with 1.5M+ active users on both. And one of the three testimonials under "What our users say" on the price page praises "StealthWriter", which is a separate product that StealthGPT lists as a competitor in its own footer (our StealthWriter review covers that one). Neither changes what the plans cost, but they are a reason to weigh the site's own numbers lightly.

What you see after a rewrite A score from its own built-in checker Our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons

Start with where StealthGPT wins. Month to month it is cheaper in dollars: $29.99 for Pro against $49 for our Starter. It sells by the week, which we do not, and its $1 trial lets you try the paid model for three days. Max takes 2,000 words in one request against our 1,500, Enterprise takes 10,000 or more, and it works in far more languages than we do. If you need a humanizer for one deadline, or you write in a language other than English, those are real reasons to pick it.

Where we would argue for ourselves is the cost of a working month. Our Starter is 100,000 words across 300 runs for $24 a month billed yearly or $49 month to month, which is $0.24 per 1,000 words on yearly billing against $0.50 on StealthGPT Pro yearly. Every one of our plans takes 1,500 words in a run, so an entry-level user is not splitting a 1,200-word essay in two. And after each rewrite we show our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons behind the number, so you can read what changed. Neither of us can show you a verdict from Turnitin, GPTZero or any checker we do not run.

One thing we have in common: our payments are also non-refundable except where the law requires. That is why you can run a passage of your own and see our AI-pattern score before and after before you pay us anything. Our plans are on the pricing page. If you have already decided to switch, our StealthGPT alternative page puts the two side by side on features. The wider field, priced the same way, is in our best AI humanizer roundup, and the cheapest AI humanizer ranking sorts every tool by cost per thousand words.

Our verdict

Who StealthGPT suits and who should look elsewhere

A good fit if you

  • need a humanizer for one week and will cancel straight after
  • write in a language other than English
  • want the whole suite: writer, agent, PDF chat and the iOS app
  • regularly paste 1,500 to 2,000 words at once and can pay for Max
  • work inside Claude or Cursor and want MCP on the entry plan

Look elsewhere if you

  • keep a humanizer month after month and want the most words per dollar on the entry plan
  • might want your money back, since every purchase is non-refundable
  • need the API without paying for Enterprise
  • want to see why a score moved, not only that it moved
  • would rather not track which billing tab a trial renews on

Questions buyers ask

StealthGPT pricing, trial and refunds answered

How much does StealthGPT cost?

StealthGPT Pro costs $6.99 a week, $29.99 a month or $24.99 a month on the yearly tab, for 12,500 words a week or 50,000 words a month. Max costs $19.99 a week, $49.99 a month or $41.99 a month yearly, for 50,000 words a week or 200,000 a month. Enterprise is $179.99 a month, or $149.99 a month billed yearly, for 1,000,000+ words. All figures were read in US dollars on stealthgpt.ai/pricing on October 14, 2026.

Does StealthGPT have a free trial?

Not a free one on the pricing page. New users get a $1 trial for 3 days of Pro or Max on the Weekly and Monthly tabs, and the card says what comes after it: $6.99 or $19.99 a week, or $29.99 or $49.99 a month. The yearly tab shows no $1 offer. The homepage paste box shows a word limit of 1,000; we did not confirm how much a visitor can run without an account.

Is there a StealthGPT promo code?

We found no public promo code on stealthgpt.ai itself. The offers the site shows are the $1 three-day trial for new users, a yearly discount described on the cards as "$5.99 off your first year" on Pro and "$18.99 off your first year" on Max, and an undated news item offering students any plan for 99 cents for the first month with a student email. Codes posted on coupon sites were not tested.

Does StealthGPT give refunds?

As a rule, no. Section 8 of its terms says "All purchases are non-refundable." Section 31 adds a conditional money-back policy that needs a screenshot from a third-party AI checker as proof, refunds only the current billing cycle for weekly and monthly users, and excludes screenshots from Originality.ai.

How do I cancel my StealthGPT subscription?

Log in at stealthgpt.ai and cancel from your account page. The terms say the cancellation "will take effect at the end of the current paid term". If you are on the $1 trial, cancel before the three days end, because the plan price is charged when it does. Keep the confirmation email.

What does unlimited mean on StealthGPT?

The pricing FAQ says unlimited words refers to your total monthly output and that each request is still capped by your plan. Section 7 of the terms caps any unlimited use at a maximum of 1 million tokens per user per month, after which StealthGPT may refuse service.

Does StealthGPT have an AI detector?

Yes. Every plan card lists "AI Humanizer / AI Detector", and a separate detector page returns its own human score without a signup. That score is StealthGPT's estimate. It is not a reading from the checker your school or client uses, and no humanizer can show you that.

Is StealthGPT legit?

It is a working product with a published price page, Stripe checkout, a named company (XYZ AI, Inc.) and terms governed by Wyoming law with arbitration in Delaware. The points to weigh are the no-refund rule, the 1 million token ceiling on unlimited use, and that the $1 trial converts to a paid plan automatically.

Is StealthGPT the same as StealthWriter or Undetected.ai?

No. StealthGPT is at stealthgpt.ai, StealthWriter is a separate product that StealthGPT compares itself against in its own footer, and Undetected.ai is this site. An account or a charge from one does not exist on the others, so cancel and ask for refunds with the company named on your receipt.
