Humanize.io Review of the $9.99 Unlimited Plan and How to Cancel

Humanize.io sells one paid plan with no word cap for $9.99 a month billed annually. That price is low. The catch sits in two short policies: a refund window of three days and 1,000 words, and a cancellation that happens only by emailing support before the renewal date.

0 / 200 words

That is more than 200 words, which is what a run without an account takes at once. Trim it, or it will stop at the limit on the next page.

No sign-up to see your result. 2 free runs a day, up to 200 words each.

The short answer

Humanize.io (humanize.io) has a Free plan and one paid plan, Unlimited. Free is $0 for 200 words a month. Unlimited is $29.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed annually, which comes to $119.88 paid up front. Both paid options list unlimited words per month and per input, 30+ languages and priority support. Refunds are possible only within three calendar days of purchase and only if you have used 1,000 words or fewer. To stop a renewal you have to email support@humanize.io with sufficient notice, because the terms describe no cancel button.

Humanize.io pricing for the Free and Unlimited plans

Every USD figure on the price page, with what a year of each option costs. Read October 15, 2026.

Plan Price Billing A year costs Words a month Words per input Also listed
Free $0 No charge $0 200 words 2,000 words Light, Medium and Heavy modes, standard support
Unlimited, monthly $29.99/mo Billed every month $359.88 if kept 12 months Unlimited Unlimited Everything in Free, 30+ languages, priority support
Unlimited, yearly $9.99/mo Billed annually $119.88 up front Unlimited Unlimited Same features as the monthly Unlimited card

The ladder is short, which makes Humanize.io pricing easy to read. There is no starter tier, no middle tier and no team plan. You either use the free allowance or you buy Unlimited, and the only choice left is how often you pay. Paying for the year takes the monthly equivalent from $29.99 to $9.99, a saving of $240 over twelve months, or two thirds. That is our arithmetic, and the page does not print a percentage or a yearly total itself.

The Free plan deserves a closer look than its card invites. It allows 200 words a month and 2,000 words per input. Those two numbers cannot both apply: once 200 words are spent, there is nothing left to put into a 2,000-word input. In practice Free is one paragraph a month, enough to hear what the Light, Medium and Heavy modes do to your writing and not enough to finish anything. ToolWorthy's listing, dated April 28, 2026, shows the same 200-word monthly figure, so it is not a new restriction.

Both paid cards list the same features: what the vendor calls a top-tier model for humanization, multi-layer data encryption, 30+ languages, readability and meaning retention, and priority support. The vendor also publishes its own detector percentages, which we did not reproduce and do not repeat. Nothing on the page separates the monthly and yearly product except the price, so the yearly plan is the same tool paid for in advance.

Read before you pay

How Humanize.io refunds and cancellation work over a year

The yearly plan from the day you pay to the day it renews, built from the refund policy and the terms.

The refund policy sets two conditions, and both have to be true:

Your request is submitted within three (3) calendar days from the date of your purchase. Your total usage of our service does not exceed 1,000 words.

To ask, you email support@humanize.io with your full name, the email address you paid with, the purchase date and a short reason. The policy says the team replies within 3 to 5 business days and, if it approves, processes the refund within 7 to 10 business days. Separately, the terms of service say "Refunds may be issued at our discretion", so meeting both conditions makes you eligible to ask rather than certain to be paid.

The 1,000-word condition is the one that catches people. On an unlimited plan, the natural first thing to do is run a real piece of work through it, and a single essay is often longer than 1,000 words. If you plan to keep the right to a refund, test with a few short passages first and keep a rough count. The policy does not say whether a renewal charge counts as a new purchase with its own three-day window, so do not plan around that.

Cancellation is the second half. Both the terms and the refund policy carry the same paragraph:

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must contact us in advance to cancel your subscription. Please ensure that you reach out to our customer support team via support@humanize.io with sufficient notice before the renewal date. Failure to do so may result in the charge being processed, and a refund may not be available.

We found no self-serve cancel button described anywhere in the terms, and "sufficient notice" is not defined. The about page says the team does its best to answer messages within 24 to 48 hours. Put those together and the safe habit is simple: email at least a week before the renewal date, from the address you signed up with, ask for a written confirmation that auto-renewal is off, and keep that reply. On the monthly plan the renewal comes every 30 days or so, which means the same email has to go out early every time you decide to stop. Closing the account entirely is also done by emailing support, according to the terms.

If you are leaving more than one tool, our guides to cancelling Phrasly and Humbot refunds and cancellation cover those companies step by step.

Honest tally

What Humanize.io does well and where it falls short

Where it is strong

  • The yearly price is low. $119.88 for a year with no stated word cap is cheaper than most paid humanizers we have priced, including ours.
  • No per-input ceiling on paid plans. A long report goes in as one piece instead of several, so the rewrite sees the whole document.
  • One plan, no upsell ladder. You do not need to work out which tier unlocks which feature.
  • Three rewrite strengths. Light, Medium and Heavy let you choose how far the text moves from your draft.
  • 30+ languages listed. Useful if you write in something other than English.
  • A refund window exists. Narrow, but more than a flat no-refund rule.

Where it falls short

  • Cancelling is an email. No cancel button is described, and "sufficient notice" before renewal is not defined.
  • The refund window is tight. Three calendar days and 1,000 words in total, then a decision at the vendor's discretion.
  • Unlimited has no number. The pricing page states no word cap and the terms define no fair-use limit we could find, so there is nothing written to hold the vendor to.
  • The free plan is a sample. 200 words a month is one paragraph.
  • The terms name no company. We found no legal entity, address or governing law in them.
  • Policies change on posting. Both documents say revisions take effect immediately.

Other reviews

What other Humanize.io reviews report

Search for a Humanize.io review and most of the first page is directory listings from sites such as iTechGuides, ToolWorthy and ZPlatform. They mostly restate the price page. ToolWorthy's entry from April 28, 2026 lists the same 200-word monthly free tier we read on October 15, 2026, which suggests the plan structure has been stable for at least half a year.

ZPlatform went further and ran its own test. It reported that the output barely moved Originality.ai scores. That is their finding on their sample, not ours, and one test on one detector is a narrow result. It is still the only independent detector test we found in the results, and it points the same way as our general advice: no humanizer can promise how a particular detector will score a particular document, and a vendor's own percentages are marketing until someone else reproduces them.

As for what Humanize.io AI is under the hood, the pricing card says only "Top-tier LLM for humanization" without naming a model. We did not find a model name, a changelog or a list of supported file types on the pages we read. The tool works as a paste box with three strength settings, and the paid plans remove the word limits.

One name clash to clear up. Humanize.io is not Humanize AI at humanizeai.pro, which is a separate company with four tiers and its own policies. If that is the tool on your receipt, read our Humanize AI review instead, because almost none of the figures on this page apply to it.

What you see after a rewrite The rewritten text in your chosen mode Our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons

Start with the plain answer: on price, Humanize.io wins. Its yearly plan is $119.88 for the year, and our Starter is $24 a month billed yearly, $288 for twelve months. Month to month it is $29.99 against our $49. It has no per-input ceiling on paid plans, where every one of our plans takes 1,500 words in a run. It lists 30+ languages, and we work in English. If you want the lowest bill for heavy, irregular use and you are comfortable managing renewal by email, Humanize.io is the cheaper purchase and you should weigh it seriously.

Where we would argue for ourselves is clarity. Our Starter publishes its allowance, 100,000 words and 300 runs a month, which works out to $0.24 per 1,000 words billed yearly. You know exactly what you have bought and when you will run out. Humanize.io's unlimited is generous on paper, but the pricing page states no word cap and the terms define no fair-use limit we could find, so there is no figure on either side of the deal. Our subscriptions are cancelled from the account page, with no email to time against a renewal date. And after each rewrite we show our own AI-pattern score before and after, with the reasons behind the number, so you can read what changed rather than trust a percentage. Neither of us can show you a verdict from Turnitin, GPTZero or any checker we do not run.

On refunds Humanize.io is ahead, and we will say so. Its window is narrow, but ours is narrower: our payments are non-refundable except where the law requires. That is why you can run a passage of your own and see our AI-pattern score before and after before you pay us anything. Our plans are on the pricing page, and the cheapest AI humanizer ranking sorts the paid field by what a working month really costs.

Our verdict

Should you buy Humanize.io Unlimited

Buy the yearly plan if you will use it all year and like the output. $119.88 for a year with no stated cap is hard to beat on price. Test with short passages first so the refund condition still applies, and put the renewal date in your calendar with a reminder a week before it.

Think twice about the monthly plan. At $29.99 a month you pay three times the yearly rate and you have to email support before each renewal you want to stop. For a single deadline that is a lot to manage.

Look elsewhere if predictability matters more than price. If you need a written allowance, a cancel button and a way to see why a score moved, a tool with published limits will suit you better. Our best AI humanizer roundup compares the field on those points.

Questions buyers ask

Humanize.io pricing, refunds and cancelling answered

How much does Humanize.io cost?

Humanize.io has one paid plan, Unlimited, at $29.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed annually, which is $119.88 charged up front by our arithmetic. There is also a Free plan at $0 with 200 words a month. All prices were read in US dollars on humanize.io/pricing on October 15, 2026.

Is Humanize.io free?

Only in a very limited way. The Free plan gives 200 words a month, about one long paragraph, with the Light, Medium and Heavy modes. The card also lists 2,000 words per input, but with a 200-word monthly allowance you cannot reach that ceiling. Treat Free as a sample of the rewriting style.

Does Humanize.io give refunds?

Sometimes. Its refund policy allows a request within three calendar days of purchase, and only if your total usage is 1,000 words or fewer. You email support@humanize.io with your name, purchase email, date and reason. The terms add that refunds "may be issued at our discretion", so approval is not automatic.

How do I cancel my Humanize.io subscription?

By email. The terms say you must contact support@humanize.io in advance, "with sufficient notice before the renewal date", and describe no cancel button in the account. Send the email well before renewal, include your purchase email, ask for written confirmation and keep it. Late notice can mean the renewal charge goes through.

Is Humanize.io legit?

It is a working product with a published price page, terms and a refund policy. The points to weigh are that the terms name no legal company or governing law we could find, cancelling requires an email rather than a button, and the vendor can change its terms and refund policy with immediate effect on posting.

Is Humanize.io the same as Humanize AI?

No. Humanize.io (humanize.io) and Humanize AI (humanizeai.pro) are separate companies with separate prices and policies, and Undetected.ai is a third company. An account or charge with one does not exist on the others, so cancel and ask for refunds with the company named on your receipt.

Does Humanize.io work?

It rewrites text in three strengths, which is what a humanizer does. Whether its output passes a particular detector is not something we reproduced. The vendor publishes its own detector percentages, which we did not test and do not repeat, and ZPlatform reported that in its own test the output barely moved Originality.ai scores.

What does unlimited mean on Humanize.io?

The pricing page says unlimited words per month and unlimited words per input on both paid cards, with no number attached. We found no fair-use limit defined in the terms either. That reads well, but it also means there is no published figure to point to if the service is ever throttled.
