NaturalWrite review with Natural Write AI pricing, word limits and the refund its terms rule out
Natural Write sells four plans from $9.99 a month, or $4.99 a month billed yearly, sized by monthly words. Its FAQ promises a 14-day refund; its terms say every purchase is final. Here is the live ladder, the fine print, and who it suits.

The short answer
NaturalWrite (Natural Write AI) charges $9.99, $19.99, $39.99 and $79.99 a month for Basic, Pro, Ultra and Unlimited, or half that billed yearly: $4.99, $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99 a month. Those buy 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 or unlimited words a month, and each request can take up to 3,000 words. Unused words do not roll over. The FAQ offers a refund within 14 days if you used under 500 words, but the terms of service call every purchase non-refundable, so treat the refund as goodwill rather than a right. It is a reasonable pick for heavy, long-form users on the annual Unlimited plan. For a student writing a few essays a month, the 5,000-word Basic allowance is small for the price.
Prices were read on naturalwrite.com on September 29, 2026 in US dollars, from a screenshot of the pricing page, the price list the page loads, and the checkout price ids in its code, which agree. Refund, renewal and company details come from the Natural Write terms of service, last updated January 1, 2025, and its FAQ.

The annual switch reads "Pay Annually, Get 6 Months Free", and the arithmetic holds: every annual rate is exactly half the monthly one. The struck-through price on each annual card is simply the monthly price, not an invented list price, and there was no countdown or sale timer on the page. One small inconsistency: the cards print $59.88 billed annually for Basic, while the price list the page loads carries $59.99, a gap of 11 cents a year on each tier. Expect the checkout, not the card, to decide.

Natural Write refund policy, one promise in the FAQ and another in the terms
Both documents are live on naturalwrite.com. They do not agree.
The FAQ and pricing page
You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase as long as you've used fewer than 500 words.
- 14 days to ask
- 500 words used, at most
- /refund form, login required
Terms of service, sections 6 and 28
All purchases made through our Services are non-refundable. Refund of credits or payments will not be provided under any circumstances.
Section 28 adds that by subscribing you waive the standard 14-day withdrawal period and that all payments are non-refundable. Section 7 says a yearly subscription may end early without a refund if the service stops.
In practice the FAQ refund is probably honored; it has its own request form, and a company rarely builds a form it ignores. The problem is what happens when support says no. A customer holding the FAQ can point to it; Natural Write can point to a signed agreement that says the opposite. For a $9.99 month the risk is small. For a $479.88 Unlimited year paid up front, it is worth a screenshot of the FAQ with the date on it, taken the day you buy.
The 500-word ceiling is also tight. It is less than two uses of a 300-word paragraph, so the refund exists only for someone who buys, tries one short piece, and decides at once. If you want to judge a humanizer on a full essay before paying, test first on the free trial or somewhere that shows you a full run up front.
The number that decides the plan
Natural Write word limit, a big paste size and a small monthly allowance
Natural Write's code takes up to 3,000 words in one request on every plan, which is generous. Most humanizers stop at 1,000 to 1,500. A long essay or a report chapter goes in as one piece and comes back in one voice.
The constraint is the other number. Basic gives 5,000 words a month. A 3,000-word paper, rewritten once and then once more to fix the parts you do not like, is 6,000 words: more than the month. Pro's 15,000 words covers roughly five such papers with one redo each.
So the plan to compare is Pro, at $19.99 a month or $9.99 billed yearly, not the Basic card that heads the page. The cost per thousand words on the right shows why the allowance matters more than the sticker.

The FAQ says access runs to the end of the period. Section 6 of the terms says remaining usage is lost immediately on cancellation. Use up your words before you click.

Places named in the terms
Governing law is "the jurisdiction in which Natural Write operates". No state, no country, no postal address. Disputes go to individual binding arbitration after 30 days of talks.
The company in the site footer is Natural Write Inc. The terms were last updated on January 1, 2025, and subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date, with no refund for the period already started. None of that is unusual. Leaving the governing law unnamed is, and for a US buyer it means that if a charge goes wrong, your practical remedy is your card issuer.
One more thing that trips people up: the Natural Write apps on Google Play and the App Store are listed under developer names other than Natural Write Inc., and the App Store prices differ from the website (Basic is $8.99 there). If you want the web terms and the web cancel route above, buy on naturalwrite.com. Our step-by-step for leaving a humanizer subscription cleanly, with the screens to screenshot, is in the Natural Write cancel subscription and refund guide.

At the top end Natural Write is the stronger offer on volume: Unlimited at $39.99 a month billed yearly has no word ceiling, while our largest plan, Scale, is $199 a month ($99 billed yearly) for 1,000,000 words. In the middle, our Pro plan is $99 a month for 300,000 words. The full ladder is on the pricing page, and the wider field is priced on the same columns in the best AI humanizer roundup.
Honest verdict
Is Natural Write worth it, and for whom
Buy Natural Write
Heavy, long-form writers
If you rewrite reports or long chapters every week, 3,000 words a request and the annual Unlimited plan at $39.99 a month are a genuinely good combination. Pay yearly only after a monthly trial run.
Buy with care
Anyone paying a year up front
Half price for annual billing is real, but the terms say no refund and allow the service to end early. Screenshot the FAQ refund wording and the plan page on the day you buy.
Look elsewhere
Students on a light schedule
Basic's 5,000 words run out after one long paper and a redo. A plan at $49 a month costs more to start, but its 100,000 words cover a normal term at a far lower price per word.
Natural Write's pricing cards advertise bypassing named AI detectors, while its own FAQ says it cannot guarantee any output will pass a third-party detector. We do not repeat any vendor's detector claims, ours included, because detectors change their models without notice. Test on your own text before you commit.
Questions buyers ask
NaturalWrite questions, answered from its own pages
How much does Natural Write cost?
Natural Write costs $9.99, $19.99, $39.99 or $79.99 a month for Basic, Pro, Ultra and Unlimited on monthly billing. Paid annually the same plans are $4.99, $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99 a month, printed as $59.88 to $479.88 billed once a year. Prices read in US dollars on naturalwrite.com on September 29, 2026.
Is NaturalWrite free?
Only as a trial. The FAQ says you get 300 words to test the features with no card. After that every plan is paid, starting at $9.99 a month or $4.99 a month billed yearly for 5,000 words. Three hundred words is roughly one paragraph, enough to judge the style but not a full document.
Does Natural Write give refunds?
Its FAQ says yes: within 14 days of purchase if you have used fewer than 500 words, requested at naturalwrite.com/refund. Its terms say no: section 6 calls every purchase non-refundable "under any circumstances", and section 28 says you waive the 14-day withdrawal period. Screenshot the FAQ wording before you buy.
How many words can Natural Write humanize at once?
The pricing cards only print the monthly allowance: 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 or unlimited words. The app itself sets 3,000 words per request on every plan and asks for at least 50 words, so a long essay fits in one paste. The monthly allowance runs out long before the per-request cap on Basic.
How do I cancel Natural Write?
Log in, open the account icon in the top right, choose Manage Subscription, then Cancel subscription on the billing page it opens. The FAQ says you keep access until the period ends; section 6 of the terms says remaining usage is lost immediately. If you bought in the iPhone app, cancel through Apple instead.
Do Natural Write words roll over?
No. The FAQ answers the question directly with "No": the monthly allowance resets and unused words are gone. Word top-ups bought separately stay in the account until used. On the annual plans the allowance is still monthly, so a quiet month does not bank words for exam season.
Who owns Natural Write?
The site footer names Natural Write Inc. The terms, last updated January 1, 2025, do not give a postal address or a named state or country; governing law is "the jurisdiction in which Natural Write operates". The phone apps under the Natural Write name are listed by developers with other names.
What is a good Natural Write alternative?
If you want more words for the money, Undetected.ai Starter is $49 a month for 100,000 words, or $24 a month billed yearly, against 5,000 words on Natural Write Basic. If you need very long single pastes or truly unlimited volume, Natural Write Ultra or Unlimited is the better fit.
